Perfect time* to unearth your channel! Parcelling out the rehab exercises into three categories is such a great idea. Your video has one other invaluable asset: your voice. There is optimism in your voice. An injured dude or dudette wants nothing more - aside from real world rehab specifics - than to be assured they are on the road to recovery. Knowledge and optimism; a powerful combo.
    * The ultrasound my GP scheduled will reveal the precise nature of my injury - my hunch is a grade one level injury to anterior deltoid and long head of the biceps.
The most unsettling thing was the beginning when I heard a sudden ‘pop’ (grade 3 muscle tear horror stories dominated my thoughts). I calmed down significantly after maniacal sessions of ice/heat, research, testing and continual reassessment.
Then I discovered your channel! Lucky dude am I.
All the best from beautiful Vancouver, Canada!

You should make a proper dystonia exercise video for the entire body. Dystonia patients are in very much need.

Hello! I have a problem that I have trouble identifying, even after watching A LOT OF YOUR VIDEOS. It is a sharp pain on the outside of my elbow joint, however I do not think it is tennis elbow since I do not get any pain while either flexing or stretching my wrist in any direction (or very very mild). The stress for which I get the most pain is when my elbow makes 90 degree with my upper arm and i exerce an outside force which is perpendicular to my elbow+upper. Basically if I were to do a lateral raise with my arm bent at 90 degree, this is how I would feel the most pain. It is very odd as I feel the pain ONLY when my arm is at this specific angle. Would you happen to know the name of this (or if you think it is tennis elbow). I have tried resting for a month now, but with no significant improvment I think rehab is the way to go... Maybe I missed one of your videos which would cover this? Thanks for the help, and I love your channel!

hello and thanks so much for watching my videos!! If the pain is load dependent (ie the force of gravity) but NOT muscle force dependent like resisting elbow and wrist motions, then I would look at other structures and consider the ligaments, joint capsule, some microinstability in the joint - easy way to test is to get the elbow in the painful position and apply a stabilizing pressure with your other hand to the elbow where it hurts - if the pain lessens or goes away, that's a good lead as to what is going on. Good luck!
