- This video covers the removal and installation of the trip computer panel in a Jaguar XJ6 Series III. The car in this video is a 1987. I have posted a companion video on the removal and installation of the Ski Slope / shifter panel.

Thank you so very much. I needed to do as part of replacing the shifter to trans cable. Inching my way through that project. Next chore is to remove the old shifter cable.... any video to help me do that? Migraine time!

How do you access the rear of the cluster to replace the bulbs? I'm working on a 1991 XJ6.
The Series III XJ6 was only produced thru 1987. So if you have a 91 it's probably the next model. Sorry, I am not familiar with those. On the SIII you remove the trip computer panel and the bulbs just pull out.
@@jchandler608 : Correct. The next model, since it's 1991. Just gotta look for screws to disconnect.
you needed to remove the ashtrays-shifter and switches skI slope panel FIRST.
