Morgan's transformation truly was the biggest and most moving out of everyone else in the show. He was a scared survivor, he lost everything, went insane, and then found inner peace.
@Daniel W I'm hopeful that FTWD will merge with TWD at some point, and then hopefully we'll see Morgan back on the show having PERMANENTLY found inner peace. Instead of killing him like in the comics, we see him in the final episode similar to the comics wherein he's grown into an old man during the 15-20 or 20-25 year time skip, and is like a wise, retired, old master with a wooden stick that everyone respects. Since Earl Sutton died recently on the show, and he of course survives the entire comic series living by himself in cottage with 3 dogs, changing Earl's ending to be Morgan instead could be a really cool idea! One that I definitely think could work. Sorry about my long arse comment, just something I was thinking about.
Still my favorite episode of the series. I just wish that would of allowed Eastman/Morgan story to play out for 2 or 3 episodes but alas. Was brilliant storytelling.

Season 6 Episode 4 is one of the most underrated episodes of the series. It’s a beautiful and powerful episode. The entire series is underrated. People hate on it because they can't understand it. They think it’s just another zombie show about action and killing, but it’s so much more than that; it’s character-driven and story-focused - it was never about the zombies, it’s always been about the people and how they change when faced with something as monumental as the end of the world. The walkers were just the way of showing that. The acting, directing, music, everything about it is amazing imo. You just have to look deeper into the show and understand the messages it's trying to convey in order to truly appreciate it.
I started watching the walking dead in 2013 and it’s been shit for about 2-3 seasons, just let it go. I think it just dragged after Negans arrival with good episodes plugged in here and there. They are just milking the series now, the story got boring. Such ashame as it had so much potential to be one of the best tv shows of all time. Call me a hater if you want but look at the ratings of the last few seasons and the number of people watching compared to the first 5/6 seasons.
this is my favorite episode of the entire walking dead series :) the music, the relaxing piano, the conversations, the aikido training, the forest, the sound of the birds. Everything in this episode influences perfectly ❤ This episode is so peaceful ❤

ChocolateMan totally agree. I love this music during some Morgan scenes. I will be very very sad when he dies. Even though he's not appeared as much as Rick and some of the others, he is still a season 1 character and i'm really glad he's outlived his comic book death
Definitely one of the best episodes for the series. I would've loved to see Eastman alive and have him and Morgan travel together. Would've made great banter and a great friendship.
[SPOILER-ish] Hearing Eastman's backstory, how he treats people, and then it later on kills him cause he pushed Morgan away made the episode so much sadder. When you see Morgan walk out of Eastman's house and he walks past a grave it says "Eastman" on, shocked me for some unknown reason. Yeah he was bitten, but such a pure man is sometimes hard to understand can die (Its a series, I know.) It's actually one of the deaths that made me get chills and actually feel really sad. And thats from only one episode. I loved it.

This theme song reminds me of how precious life is, and no matter how hard life tries to take you down, peace lies within. Morgan is absolutely my favorite character and the hidden gem of a backbone to Rick.
i love how they create that piano theme just for the one character so you can remember him and know his story. that it is something special. i started to notice when he would appear throughout the seasons and episodes that they would play this theme. its his theme. he came back.
I cried during Morgan’s episode. This is so moving and the music just makes it even more moving. The walking dead is so deep in emotions sometimes. This music is making me tear up right now.
This is a great theme. But I would prefer them to play "Mercy For the Living" theme from S1 if Morgan ever dies. Maybe Rick has to put Morgan down that would get me right in the feels.
I hope he does die, I'm so sick of him wanting to learning "peace" and not kill people and this "all life is precious" ideology is getting ridiculous now. Sure he may have broken that rule when he killed that Savior called Roman in the season 6 finale but he is still living by that stupid mentality which will hopefully sooner or later lead to his demise which he fully deserves for being the way he is. The Patriot Morgan is an interesting character he's more better character then Rosita Eugene he was just some guy surviving with his son he lost him then Morgan went crazy and started killing people but his friend Eastman changed him

And when we see Morgan leave Eastman's cabin and this song picks up as we are taken back to the end of no sanctuary where he picks up Ricks trail felt perfect and it made me want to watch no sanctuary all over again which I did indeed do.

My favorite character in TWD to this day. Only reason I moved over to Fear in Season 4 to make that my main Walking Dead show, hopefully they show his journey back to Alexandria after Fear is over.
Morgan's episode was one personally one of my favorites. I thought it was beautiful. Morgan's story is beautiful. He's been through hell and back and finally found himself in a state of mind where he truly believes "all life is precious" despite of the world he's living in. Despite what he's seen and been through. That's just too damn beautiful.

Morgan truly is the opposite of Rick in many ways, he got to experience society crumbling firsthand, had to protect his family, find a way to survive while everywhere is in chaos, he lost his wife, his son, alone with no support group cause he probably encountered a lot of bad people by himself, thus the "clearing" overprotective stage of his sanity. Rick on the other hand slept through everything, saved by Morgan, met a group, had people to comfort him when Lori died, had a baby, fell in love with Michonne etc
I love Rick and Morgan. They both lost their wife and son, they both went through big big changes to their characters and my biggest wish is that we see them reunite one last time hopefully in the Rick and Michonne series. It’s been hugely hinted at anyway
I never gave this episode a chance originally but I've since rewatched it at least three times and in my opinion, I think it's an excellent storytelling masterpiece. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but something about this is just so good. And important. I cried watching this and will probably cry again during future rewatches.
Morgan Jones may be my favorite character, not just in The Walking Dead, but in life itself. I really have not found the words to express it, but after seeing his arc run through Fear the Walking Dead's conclusion? Lennie James is an amazing actor, because in many ways, Morgan Jones is me. "All life is precious," has become my mantra as well.
I was able to speak to this actor once, told him he was my favorite character. Kinda as if I actually thought he was Morgan, ha. As I stood in line to meet him, all I could think of was this song. His episodes. There's something about this character that is so beyond evolved from the rest. I can't explain it. Like this song. It sounds like a sad song, but it makes me feel happy. Every time I hear it. Happy. There are some great soundtracks on this show, but this is the one I always notice. I don't know if the actor is ven familiar with it, I wish I had the time to ask. But bless him, think his name was Lenny? I'm gonna feel bad if I get that wrong.

Morgan Jones may be my favorite character, not just in The Walking Dead, but in life itself. I really have not found the words to express it, but after seeing his arc run through Fear the Walking Dead's conclusion? Lennie James is an amazing actor, because in many ways, Morgan Jones is me. "All life is precious," has become my mantra as well.
I literally watch “Here’s Not Here” a few times a year to this day for inspiration.

I was able to speak to this actor once, told him he was my favorite character. Kinda as if I actually thought he was Morgan, ha. As I stood in line to meet him, all I could think of was this song. His episodes. There's something about this character that is so beyond evolved from the rest.
I can't explain it. Like this song.
It sounds like a sad song, but it makes me feel happy. Every time I hear it. Happy. There are some great soundtracks on this show, but this is the one I always notice.
I don't know if the actor is ven familiar with it, I wish I had the time to ask. But bless him, think his name was Lenny? I'm gonna feel bad if I get that wrong.
