Just came across your channel looking for Baltimore Orioles. My first year that we have been able to attract the Orioles. We are from South Jersey and My husband and I enjoy our back yard birds so much. Take care.
Im in Northern Arkansas and I just finished making a really cool oriole feeder for oranges and jelly! I also hung up some orange ribbon in a few corners of the yard. Have you ever had anyone use orange ribbon to draw the orioles in?
Ilike the ultimate oriole feeder but it holds too much nectar. This is common complaint. I would hope they will cut the nectar tray by 2/3 capacity. one cup of nectar at a time is fine. this thing holds way over 3 cups. i suggest a baffle for that feeder that is 18 inches, because otherwise the jelly will get soaked in any rain. The baffle you showed was too narrow for that feeder to keep it dry, though it may keep squirrels away.

Thanks for the video! I’m trying to attract our Bullocks Orioles in Colorado.

I would guess 5 or 6 feet both vertical and horizontal?
How do you keep ants away?
