Its ordered from longest chapter to shortest. No need to beat around the bush with a long video. That's why when someone reads it it seems like stuff has no order.
Thank you Dr. Shabir. The approach I see people in my country do is reading Qur'an in sequence as ritual in one time of the day (usually after fajr), then at other time on the same day (usually between maghrib and 'Isa) they read (and try to memorize) the chapter they want to focus, usually also by reading its commentary.
But then what was the order that prophet may Allahs peace and blessings be upon him recite to jibail alayhissalam in the last ramadan of his life, which he did twice? please can u put a light on it?
V appreciate if anyone can help me by answering this or giving link to something- how did the Prophet PBUH and the early muslims establish prayer if certain sura’s were unfinished or hadn’t been completely revealed yet? For example in the very early days when say 10% of the Quran was revealed, wouldn’t this mean there were only a couple of completed surahs with the other surahs only having in them a few verses? Thx
Respect to you All. What I learned from other scholars was that before the Prophet (PBUH) passed away, the Angel Djabril (PBUH) recited the Quran in the order we now know, then the prophet recited it in the same order afterwards. is that correct? Thank you for your efforts.
This means, after prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) death, Allah (swt) is still with us muslim. He guided us without our knowing. How come that the qur'an is organized by the people without their knowing that they put it together perfectly. Why, because the sequence of the chapter of qur'an have algorithm that show miracles,
Dr Shabir - mathematically the number of possible permutations of the 114 Surahs of the Qur'an is 114!=1.49×10^188 - trillions of trillions of trillions..... an extremely large number of permutations.
Is the quran written like the bible revealed like the bible translated like tge bible and interpreted like the bible is it the same revelation the same order ???
Why doesn’t Dr. Shabir Ali cite his sources of where he got this information? Also this still doesn’t explain why the current version is better than the order that ALLAH revealed it to the prophet… I’ve watched a lot of these videos and the only possible logical reason I can think of is either because the compilers were arrogant enough to think they knew better than the REVEALER, OR they were doing it to manipulate the narrative/meaning. If you are angered by this comment go back and reread the Quran in chronological order and understand the difference yourself.

I was doing some research. I find it interesting that Jesus died about 600 years before the quran was written by Mohammed. Mohammed said that the quran was dictated to him by the angel Jibril (Gabriel), who was sitting in a chair (Possibly a throne) in space between heaven and Earth. Who is the ruler of the 1st layer of heaven (space) and Earth? Satan is. Joseph Smith said that an "angel of light" appeared to him and gave him the book of Mormon written on gold tablets (that no one else has ever seen). What does the bible say about Satan? It says that he comes as an "angel of light" to deceive many. The Bible is the only book that claims to be the direct inspiration of God. It also claims that God Himself dictated to Moses, not angels. Charles Taze Russell, the founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses, wrote the first Watchtower Bible in 1884. (Didn't even claim it came from God or an angel. (Just his translation). So, the majority of the Bible was dictated by God and written prior to the quran and the catholic bible and the book of Mormon and the Jehovah's Witness bible. So, which one do you think we should put our faith in?
The main reason for the disorganization in Quran was because the words revealed by Allah to Prophet Muhammad was not for the benifit of believers but only for the benifit of the Prophet. Whenever Prophet is in trouble Allah reveals His words to rescue him. Poor believers has to arrange it with their own efforts to understand and follow Allah's word. Very sad.
