Oooouu! New fabric! Love it. They are all gorgeous. Look forward to hearing what you decide to make. New fabric does get the creative juices flowing. I don't think you should feel guilty at all. You are doing a great job of shopping your stash too. Love the pj's too. I know you will figure out the sleeve on your cardigan but what a shame after all that work. Happy planning and sewing. 😍
Hi Kim, what a lovely haul, the last rose fabric will be beautiful as pyjamas, don't say it's too good for pyjamas, treat yourself to some luxury. Have a lovely week x
I am now down the rabbit hole that is Sherwood Fabrics! I initially thought they might be near me, as I live near Sherwood Forest, but they are not too far away in Derbyshire, although they do not have a bricks and mortar shop. I have made a few pairs of pyjamas over the past year, but I go for cotton jersey as I prefer stretch. I will be needing some more winter ones soon so I picked up some fabric the other week in Leeds when we had a trip up there. I am trying to resist buying more fabric, but I don't have that much of a stash and I am getting through it reasonably quickly. It's the leftovers where I have a problem - too much left to get rid of but not enough for a garment unless combined with another fabric.
I'm really getting into making PJ's. Though mine are always made in cotton as I overheat in bed and they feel cooling. I would love to have more bricks and mortar fabric stores near me, but I think I'd be tempted too much. I already have a vast stash. I do try and use up scraps but it's difficult to find projects for them. Enjoy your PJs ❤️
@@joycejones9609 I wash everything. It's been washed and tumble dried and has survived and smells gorgeous. I do always put in a 'colour catcher' in the wash to collect any residue of dye and I'm always amazed how those things work but thankfully, so far, they have. ❤️
I love all of the fabrics but especially the pink ❤
@@joycejones9609 I know Joyce. Pink just brings a smile to your face 😁❤️
Thank you for another lovely episode. I look forward to seeing all your new makes x
@@elainebracken9957 thanks Elaine. You never know one day I might actually make a pair of Seaforth pants 🤣❤️

Will you wash the corduroy before sewing it up?
