This clock has the chime rods that were manufactured in 1986 because Hermle only made those specific ones for that year. What year is this clock? I once was at a funeral home that had a Grandfather Clock with those exact chime rods. It was a Seth Thomas that was made in 1980. I had heard it do Westminster every quarter hour and it just made me feel so happy. Something about a clock doing the quarters just makes things better.
I must admit, this is a very nice grandfather clock. I've been wanting to add a cable-driven grandfather clock with a moon dial to my clock collection for quite some time. I find this one to be interesting because it has different chime rods. I can't tell the difference between the chime rods in this grandfather clock and other traditional cable-driven grandfather clocks. Are these chime rods shorter, a different color, or both? And were 1985 or 1986 the only two years these Hermle movements were made?
They could make hermle movements in 1985 they might be rare from 1985 hermle movements and they can make a kinginger movement from cable driven clocks from grandfather clocks can have kinginger movements they can still make it from kinginger movements from wall clocks and mantle clocks and grandfather clocks and thank you for your support
Wonderful clcok, my clock has the same sounding movement. However, only difference is it’s wood is darker.

You should adjust the hour strike hammers on the left side of the movement
I would try to adjust the left hammers from the left striking mechanism on it and thanks you for asking the information
