- THE DUBLINERS 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION FROM DUBLIN’S CHRIST CHURCH CATHERDRAL
After 50 years of music making The Dubliners take to the stage for their final hometown performance with founding member Barney McKenna.
When I was a kid, we had a music class once a week, on Wednesdays, in Elementary school. We sang Molloy Malone many times.
It warms your heart when you see this performance. The ear is once again pampered with beautiful sounds in a breathtaking environment.

One of my prefered ballads, Irish ballads…the best!
It is a Scottish ballad not Irish
@@georgebarnes8163 Oh…I always thought was Irish…
@@pemacal57 composed and published by James Yorkston of Edinburgh
@@georgebarnes8163 Thank you very much.
Even the famous “ Night visiting song” was composed by Luke Kelly following an old Scottish music melody.
@@pemacal57 Same with Danny Boy, it is an English ballad written by Fredrick Weatherly though most think it is also Irish.
Go raibh maith agat! I LOVE this song...🙏👩🦰 Dia dhaoibh! Grá ó California, USA! 🤗💚🇮🇪🇺🇲
