I am an experienced sewer and I still learn things from watching your videos! Thanks for all the hints, projects, and home-spun humor! Love St. George, Utah.
Dear, Cheryl thank you for the video. I am learning a lot from you because you are explaining the making of the product very well. I am from Suriname, South America.
I have some of my mom's quilt tops that I am beginning to quilt. I have 2 squares that have no fabric to make them into a top, so I am going to make a tote bag. I'll always have a piece of her with me! Thank you so much for your videos! They have inspired me to make several items I've seen on your channel!!
I love my tote I just finished. I have been sewing since high school and never made one. I will make more for sure. Thank you for your detailed and patient teaching.
How do you spell your name? I thought I saw it written as "Sherrill" one time. But then just now..it appeared it was someone you knew..spelled it "Sheryl". Thank you!
Sherrill, I made one today and it turned out so beautiful! The only hard part was turning the straps right side out! I wish there was an easier way. Thanks for the great directions! By the way, I did a lot of research and I bought a Brother Pacesetter. It has lots of bells and whistles and sews like a dream. I have to learn how to use all its features! I’m excited to make more of your projects! Thanks for all you do to !
Good morning and thanks for another wonderful tutorial. I love the cat bag. I have already saved the video for the cat quilt. I will be making an extra block. Have a blessed day. Nicole
Love your videos. I would love to see you make a lined, draw string pouch. I collect tarot decks and would love to know how to make my own pouches. The typical tarot deck is 4.8" High x 2.87" wide x 1.34" thick and oracle decks are usually around 3.5" wide x 5.75". Traditionally tarot cards were wrapped in silk and some who currently make and sell pouches or wraps, will line them with silk and use cotton for the exterior. I have no idea how to even start on such a project so maybe you can help this beginner andour tarot community with an instruction video. Please! 💕💕💜🙏💜💕💕
Hi June. Thank you so much for watching. I have a few different drawstring bag tutorials that I've done. I think this one might possibly help you out. 😀 Little Drawstring Anything Bag - ua-cam.com/video/NOiFVYWZQHg/v-deo.html
Hi Sherill I have listened to this tutorial so many times. I think when it comes to the straps don't you think it will be right to say 2 strap pcs of outside fabric and 2 strap pcs of lining fabric and 4 pcs of heavy iron on interfacing?. i am not trying to find fault but trying to understand. I have tried few of your sewing tutorials and love them so much. Thank you for all what you are doing to teach us.
Hi Bunnygirl. Yes it will help give the bag a more sturdy shape. If you don't use the heavy interfacing, the bag will be very floppy. Stay safe, and thanks for watching.
Thank you so much for watching! Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about this video. 😀
Very nice.

Hi Genevie. Thanks for the suggestion. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
Would you still use interfacing if you use heavy weight cotton, or denim?
Hi Bunnygirl. Yes it will help give the bag a more sturdy shape. If you don't use the heavy interfacing, the bag will be very floppy. Stay safe, and thanks for watching.
What are the measurments of the finished bag?
It is around 16" x 16". Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Good afternoon Sheryl how are you and family. How's the new baby?
Hi Barbara. Everyone is doing wonderfully! Parker is already getting so big. 😀 Hope you're doing okay. ❤
