How many likes for Christine 2
Christine is a classic...both the film and of course the car. While I cringe at the thought that 24 cars were destroyed making the film☹️, the FILM is what made this such a desirable and iconic car. Long live Christine!
Read the book....
And you forgot about the music .
Before that movie came out, you couldn't give away them old late 50s Plymouths, they were in junkyards all across the country. Then overnight they became highly desirable.
@@thereluctantgearhead4544 why ? , they're a nice looking car . I,ll have them all .
@@glengledhill9867 Don't know, I've always liked them, but back then, everybody wanted a 55 or 57 Chevy. The old Mopars and Ford's didn't get much attention. They were just used cars back then. Kinda like a early 2000s Mopars are now. The older cars get, the more desirable they become. 58 Plymouth was only about 24 yrs old then. About like a 1999 now. Old cars were cheap back then. I paid 50-75 bucks for a bunch of different old cars back then. First car was a 53 Chevy, paid 75 bucks for it and drove it home. Nobody wanted them either. Times sure changed.
This is the only Carpenter film I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of w/todays technology. Especially actually following the ORIGINAL storyline. I read the book when it first came out in hardcover.
No John carpenter can't do better than he did please don't remake
@@donaldwilliamson9127 You're out of luck, Blumhouse Productions is planning on remaking but of course no release date has been made yet.
@@westerner1966 damn, I have been obsessing over this movie for a week now, writing in my head how to continue it.
Was gonna take Christine's cube of crushed metal and have it recycled like many do, and a piece of that metal be used to build a newer car. This is how we will transfer the essence of Christine into a newer model.
Including a scene where she realizes she cannot catch her victims who drive faster modern cars, she then finds a dealership and "eats" the stock available, rebuilding herself into a super charged threat.
Of course the dealership simply thinks the cars were stolen.
Give her a supercharged LS motor cranking out 700+.
At some point, she could "posess" another vehicle using the the modern bluetooth connectivity.
Have it be a truck with 4 wheel drive and doesnt worry about curbs, dividers, sand, or obstacles.
@@Dagrizzb
😱😵😰😲😨
@@Dagrizzb Can't wait for the Remake to come out, Hope it comes 2022
Now see if Christine could repair herself from a crushed, mangled mess in the shape of a cube. That 3d animation would be worth watching.
Be really cool if there was a sequel , if you watch the very end of the film the crushed cube starts to unravel itself , Slowly.
i think you forget....she DID.
Eric Madsen yeah
big pun exactly
@@bigpun7916 a hellcat would fit the bill perfectly .
This movie of this car , every time I watch it makes me want a 1958 Plymouth more and more.
My dad had one, but it was 2 tone gold and white.
I have two words for you... absolute genius!! The visuals and sound effects are truly right on target. Man I wish a Christine sequel was made or a remake that really follows the possession of Arnie by LeBay like the book did. Stephen King - El maestro macabre!!
Well I have two words for you sir.
*Wish granted*
Rock and roll is here to stay, it will never die.
Freakin awesome! Only thing is Christine's automatic transmission wasn't a lever on the column. It was the 3 speed pushbutton 727 torqueflite. Buttons are on the left side of the dash next to the gauge pod.
A three speed automatic in 58? That’s surprising since it was a Chrysler corporation car.
@@rustyshacklefordrefined5756 Yeah the 3 speed 727 was available as early as 56 in some cars I think.
@@rustyshacklefordrefined5756 Torqueflite transmission was never a 2 speed.
@@rustyshacklefordrefined5756 a variety of cars had three speed automatic transmissions in the 50's. A scant few even had four speeds, although they were only made for a few years.
I've been waiting 30 years for Chistine part 2. Do it already! The book will give you plenty of ideas.
39 years in 2022.
@@Coupydog 40 now
Será que somente eu não cansa os olhos por tantas vezes rever esse carro magnífico? Rsrsrsrs
If memory serves there actually was a "Christine 2" The plot was based on having the cube that was the first Christine sent to the shredders where it was turned into metallic shrapnel. Those bits and pieces were then smelted down and the recycled metal along with new metal ended up being used in the fabrication of other cars, Since all they crushed was the physical vehicle, the spirit that was Christine still lived on in the bits and pieces and survived to animate the new cars. Take it from there.
That's cool 'n all, but the new possessed cars would be a bunch of '84 Celebritys and Tempos.
Yes it was the brake failure Ford and stuck throttle Toyota.
Disney did it with Herbie and the black evil beetle.
If a sequel was made today it would be 3 cars. One transgender, one lesbian and a non binary
@@mcshmoe1143 good one...
Yup...
Love that sound of the engine
Sound effects...
And when Christine wasn't in the possessed mode you could hear just a normal engine with an upside-down air cleaner... whoop whoop...
Even the the enginesound is spot on!!! Awsome!
Not as incorrect as one may think in regards to the gear stick lever. My 58 Plymouth has a column stick...a "3 on the tree"! Manual, which was standard. The push button automatics were an optioned upgrade which most folks went for back in the day. The Christine car used in the moochie chase scene was a three speed manual.
Christine come back, please. Very awesome clip.
this could be a perfect opening scene for Christine 2
Khoi Hoang that is very true
Have you seen the end of the original christine
@@texaswalker2011 Christine is implied to have survived at the end of the book
Yeah I agree
TheTraveling ToyGuy it bit him lol
Our beloved Christine
If only John Carpenter (or someone better) had had this film technology back in 1983, there wouldn't have been 24 real Plymouths destroyed.
But there's just something "better" about how they filmed the movie that's lost with computer animation though. Sure it's sad the cars were destroyed/damaged, but look at the result . One technical thing that I like about the movie Christine is how they did the effect of her fixing herself.
...No/indeed. I agree with you completely. I also think of those Plymouth Furys' which had to be vandalised to make the film: A terrible thought really !
BUT HOPEFULLY, the film itself Will have inspired someone to Save More than 24 Plymouths' that were otherwise, rusting away quietly, out in someone's field (?) I'd like to think so anyway.
FarginBastiges wait there were 24? I thought it was just shy of 6 and 8
Think of all the '68 to '70 Chargers that could've been saved during the years The Dukes Of Hazzard was on if they had this technology back then.
Those weren't Fury's. They were old and rusted Savoys and Belvedere's, stunt cars basically.
Christine my favorite car❤️❤️❤️
Best car move i could see over and over
if part 2 of christine was made, 3d version will scare the ish out of someone. love this car
Christine my girl. You're back! Let's ride
Waiting for the headlight to come on! Teasers! 😉 🤣 Loved this movie....and Christine.
This guy did an awesome job....he should get backers and make the sequel!!! LONG LIVE CHRISTINE!!!!
This was very well animated. Well done. Also that rumble was just as terrifying as I recall
Oh yeah... Sent me looking over my shoulder..... lol
Always loved the original movie, hope there is a sequel in the offing.....
Cool as!!! ...brought happy memories of the movie back. I loved john carpenter films in the 80's...
I love it❤❤😂😂😂😂😂 Bring it back again baby!!! Take me Christine!! I wanna go for a ride I'll never forget!!
Sounds like Christine got a cam swap.
I would say so.
Yep
Christine got a cam and headers, she's meaner than ever
Is this a sequel
This 🚘car was gorgeous with a bit of devil twist 🎃
Lol,,makes me wanna watch this movie again..loved this ride..only wanted ,love and loyalty,,,,🏆🥂🍾👍
Got goose bumps seeing this sequence and start to remember...
I would gladly give my soul for Chirstine to my car.
m191145acp Wait didn't Aronie do that already?.... and you see what happened to him right 💀💀😱
IT IS DONE!!!!!......enjoy the ride..................
You're an IDIOT !!
Most beautiful car I have ever seen x
Muuuiitoo Massaa!!! Parabens fico Otimo, igualsinho ao Filme.... Meu sonho de Carro!
That’s my girl Christine u go girl
only thing I could mention is the Fury / Belvedere actually had Torqueflite three-speed Push Button gear selector, not a column change leaver.
Well now that's not true some did come with a manual 3 on the tree
@@thebigdb1634 But Christine didn't. She had the "V-800 Dual Fury" polyhead 318 with the push button auto. And if it was the 3 on the tree, you wouldn't hear it shift through a couple gears on the way down.
@@mrbeefhbw it's a 350 not 318
@@mrbeefhbw she got the golden commando
@@bettytorres6285 Read the book, she's a 318 poly with the push button.
I had a Christine, a 1958 Plymouth Fury. It had Transmission push buttons, not a gear shift lever.
Well done. The odometer was a nice touch.
Love how she blows Flames
Ive got the dvd never tired of watchin it
A sight to behold a thing of beauty (CHRISTINE) LOVE CLASSIC CARS MUSCLE MACHINES,
My Dad had a 59 with the Golden Commando 361 CID engine 305 bhp with 10:1 CR same color as the one in Christine the movie. For as heavy as it was it moved. Rust here in PA got to the frame and floor boards and he got rid of it I was 7 years old and I cryed like a baby
Nice animation dude, really good.
John Orca I agree
3:12 is this similar by a porsche erk9
They need to bring back Christine as a sequel
That......Was......AMAZING
Very well done... LOVE IT. The sound is great
I like the revving sound.
David Sabino ur right it sounds awsome
Ikr it sound like a Dodge Charger engine a betiful car with a very cool sound engine
@@jdmfanboy6234 yes I love it too how it sounds it sounds MEAN.......

Sounds like a Dodge 440, Ford 428CJ or Lincoln 462.
Cop: sir why are your miles 0 on a 1950's car when it's 2020
Owner: sorry officer she does it herself
Since when cops pull over someone beacuse he has too low miles
hahahahahaha 😂 that was funny
Que bien hecho esta este trabajo😻💖muchas gracias🐱
Ay qué cochazo, Christine fabuloso me encanta 👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇷
Lembro desse filme
.assisti quando eu era criança... muito bom... fiquei com medo na época... sinistro..o carro batia nos outros..é não tinha motorista.. tinha vida própria..era um carro psicopata.
Wouldn't it be great if cars could really fix theirselves?
redradiodog scary
redradiodog yes I look at mine every day hoping that she’s going too fix herself but for some reason she just sits their in the driveway doing nothing at all I’m disappointed
Body shops would go bust.
Yeah especially cars that cost as much as a house does
Memory metals do exist, but evidently not for vehicles.
one of the coolest cars/movies/books ever! If Christine and H.A.L. had an offspring... would it be KITT or KARR?
This would be a great video game.
Y'know, if that film came out today, the effects employed for the car to fix itself, would be handled, the way you did it!!!!
Awesome vid!!!!
Very true
SHOW ME!!!!
Damn Man!!!!$ Beautiful work!!!! Fell in love with Christine many years ago and she will always be #1!!!!!!
Caro Ivo, questo è un capolavoro! Non importa se hai dovuto ricorrere a qualche modello, è comunque un'opera d'arte. Complimenti davvero!
Granbellapassione erisultato!
Tasters Choice
I need to get one of these for my daughter. It can just renew itself after each trip. That girl cannot take care of a car.
Dude well done.. so cool!! I'm a great fan of SK and all his work. Christine was the first movie-based on his novel that I watched and she was the first car I ever wanted to have. ;)
Vida em Eventos 1st car I ever wanted was the General Lee, followed by KITT, followed by Christine
This is impressive by modern day standards, the fact that this is from 2011 is amazing!
One of my favorite movies
That was really cool!
You gotta love Christine even though she hates everybody.
She only hates the ones who hate her
She didn't hate her owners🙄
She was in love with Lebay and Arnie
@@frankielove31 yes with those two exceptions.
@@frankielove31 I know that⭐
I think the music is wrong. It should be a 50's rock & roll.
Yep, the music lacks coolness, especially where Christine rebuilds herself.
Should have played George Thurogood Gear Jammer!!!!! Cuz she was jammin n thrashin the gears to get herself that F'ed up.
I agree . Johnny ace .we belong together 😈👍
@@estpst I like it I think it's the music from Dusk till Dawn where Salma Hayek does her snake dance
shouldn't have made it look all shiny and definitely not lower the suspension..
i would love this car like she won't regret
Holey Macaroni!!! THere's so much love in this creation!
Simple amazing, Stephen King would be so proud of this, a brilliant tribute to the most evil movie car Christine. The tension in the vieo was brilliant too and my ravourite bit was the hanging key chain, I was just waiting for that spooky radio to play and her beaming lights to shine.
3:10 loop that for dayz
Road Runners, Chargers, Super Bees, Challengers, Daytonas...but this is the most infamous Mopar of ‘em all. An Autumn Red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury named “Christine”.
YES, We can see the Movie about CHRISTINE in Argentina. Wow!!! Beautiful car!!!!
Very good, continue the good work.Like an adaptation of the movie?Congratulations from,Lisboa,Olivais!!
1958 Plymouth Fury's had push button drive selector on dash, left. You had to use the parking brake, especially on a hill. Many owners turned the wheels into the curb. Still a cool animation.
Love it! Always wanted a self repairing car!
I don't know about present day cars with them, but those in the 50s and 60s had lots of problems with the push button automatics. Some of these even made it to Australia. My dad used to have a '64 Chrysler AP5 Valiant, an Australian model with a push button automatic. It gave him so many headaches he sold it and got a '64 XP Ford Falcon to replace it
very good .. i just crapped myself .. *shivers*
GO ON , CHRISTINE .... GO FOR IT ... DRIVE ALONG THE HIGHWAY A NEVER ENDING RIDE ...SEE YA ....
Love this car. Wish they would make a sequel.
I like the car but I love how the ole girl sounds in this and movie
Sadly it's not actually her engine sounds in the movie. They used the sounds from a 428 cobra jet mustang because it sounded beefier and meaner than Christine's little 318.
Great animation
Great to see her again!!! thanks
BEAUTIFUL PLYMOUTH.. HEY CHRISTINE DANCE AS A SALMA 🚘
The 3D is AMAZING!!
nice one, very very good. love it, from a christine fan, thanks
I love Christiane Plymouth fury 1958
The eerie sound effects make it more scary. They should do part 2, just like this in 3d
