And I think it would be interesting for an actual Irish person to see how their culture got translated over the last 150-ish years of them being here. What stuck, what didn’t, how you can draw the line between actual Irish and Irish-American.

I did a social studies report on Ireland when I was in grade five. I saw Darby O'Gill and the Little People(1959) on The Wonderful World of Disney(a Canadian television program with different Disney movies every Sunday)in the early '80s and it sparked an interest in me in Ireland. A few years later the teacher told us to pick any country in the world and do a report on it, its history, culture, geography etc. Such a beautiful country.

One of my favourite videos you've ever made Adam. I know most people are here for the platinum journeys, but as somebody with a deep connection to Ireland (well the northern part at least) this video really connected with me. I can't wait to be back in the best island on earth sinking a few pints of the black stuff in a couple weeks.

Thank you for sharing your favourite places around the country; I have not explored as much as I would like. I love to explore the coast and the mountains! I must say though, there's much less to do in the average small town if you don't drink alcohol... It makes it hard to recommend places to foreign visitors who don't share in the drinking culture.
Yeah, the drinking culture is pretty ingrained in Ireland. On the plus side, more and more cafés are popping up.

Got close friends down in cork, so ive been ireland many times. Great people, great pubs, and fantastic Guinness. Coming over in January, meeting my friends in cork. then taking a drive down to Killarney National Park. Looking forward to it 👍

I visited Galway (and the rest of the country haha) from America earlier this summer. It was already awesome but I really wish we knew more about acts like that! Great video, you're making me miss the country even more than I already do. ❤

Funny enough, I've spent a bunch of time there in years past. My parents had a mobile home in Glenbeigh so that was most of my summers as a teenager.
