Plus Jacob wanted to have creative control over the songs from the beginning, and that was evident in Making The Band. Jacobs heart wasn't really into being in the band, and well, now he's cuttin' wood.
the new album is awesome. i think the first and third albums were the best. O2 was fine. I have the whole discography. that breakdown break part with the funky guitars and stuff was awesome. when it comes to boybands and bieber like artists the live version are always cooler. All this is played live and even with a new cool arrangement. one bands that kills live arrangements is rush. they make a 2 minute song 10 and you can't recognize what song it is. but i like them too. yes im a music nerd.

If you would have seen MTB, they addressed the possibility of lipsyncing. The record company wanted them to do it after that show, but they said they wouldn't do it. They only perform live. I'm a singer myself, I know when someone's singing live or not. It's easy to tell by how their voice reacts to their movements.
