I chatted with the newly reunited boys of O-Town, where they discussed the absence of former member Ashley Parker Angel & their new music.

Watching this 6 years after their "comeback album" was released brings back great memories of this time. Lines and Circles is probably their best album to date and their OTWN album is nothing to sneeze at either. It's great to see them maintain such close ties with each other and make music their own way. I got a chance a few years ago to tell Erik that I agreed with Dan about his vocals on "Buried Alive",they're so gritty and soulful!!! These guys are one of my top favorites guys groups of all time,hands down.
They've aged well. Nice to see that two of the guys got college degrees too.

I just saw them in concert last weekend and they were amazing!!!!!
"How do we make this work without the face" So basically what Lou had told Ashley was true, he was pushed to be the next Justin or the next Nick....and Ashley's band mates believed it to..and still do.
Every band has to be a "face".
He is the only one I don’t like. I guess that makes sense because I’m a guy and he was marketed to girls. Me not liking him proves the work they did with Ashley was well done 🤷🏻♂️😂
What makes the group is the harmony & harmony is what makes up the group

I kind of like it as the 4 of them if Ashley came back we would not have lines and circles and I think Trevor would not of got to sing as much as he did on the album. I love all their voices but Trevor really has gotten better at signing

Thank god for Ikaika leaving so Dan Miller can come in and Jacob for cutting that mop off his head. Hopefully they can talk Ashley into returning or doing some shows with them every now and then at least. And there were 4.
+jwathas But if you really think about it. The Curse was they had bad contracts. The Gift was Ikaika leaving because of that and Dan Miller came in. It was a no win situation for everybody.
ashley will never come back to the band. i like otown as 4 members anyways. its more about the music and the guys all wright the music now.they seem to be happier with just the 4. although in nov ashley will be joining otown in chicago for rewind con. but not to perform just to talk about making the band and otown.

Yeah I wont hold my breath Ashley returning but its not just about him returning but also how a talented musician he is and contributed to the band. Hes an incredible writer. That "say say" record he wrote with Jacob and "apology" record are masterpieces. "American game" is great too. I'm hoping they release an O town lost tapes of records they weren't able to release.
Yeah me too. The won all the guys wrote during the album was amazing. When they were in Germany. But the record didn't like it. I thought it could have been their best song. It was so good. Kind of the sound they have now.

Ashley being gone they have to rearrange their whole show by singing Ashley's part. I'm buying they're 1st 2 albums 1st chance and maybe Ashley's solo. Each 1 of them should drop a solo record a piece. They all have star potential.

Why isnt Ashley parker Angel not in the band anymore. i never really listened to them when i was a kid in early 2000 i liked backstreet boys and 98 degrees more i was 10 then in 2000.
Ashley is focusing on his individual works. He has been on Broadway and when they decided to get back together he was doing a second stint with OZ on broadway.
you should check them out. Otown sounds amazing with just the 4 of them you dont even know Ashley is missing. i just saw them on tour with 98 degrees and otown was so good.
Oh ok. and oh that's cool I wish to see 98 degress band name concert sometime o hope they come to miwaukee
+Angela m I'm sure they will. they just finish the tour last Monday. but Otown will be back on tour hopefully next year. not sure about 98 degrees

Because he was the original Front man leader singer (justin timberlake) of the group 14 years ago.
Technically Dan, Jacob and Eric are the more talented singers. Ashley and Trevor we're weaker singers which is highlighted in their two first albums and on making the band. Ashley was in the band for as they just said being the "Face" of the band as he was the one the girls liked and Trevor made the band for being the best dancer and for actually trying the hardest to push himself in every aspect.
