Now imagine this happening 24/7), and by eating brains, they basically are like getting a dose of a few pills, which will last for a while before they have to do so again.

The Tarman Zombie was the same actor (Alan Trautman) who played him in the first movie. The Red headed girlfriend (Suzanne Synder) played the blonde girl in Killer Klowns from Outer Space! The first movie really balanced the Horror and Comedy. This was just slapsticky and over goofy and the Horror just wasn't there.
Apparently there actually rebooting this series now. I liked the first and the 3rd this one is passable and could almost be a zombie parody kids movie. 4 and 5 are aweful.

I gotta be honest, if I was in a zombie apocalypse and there were zombies after me, I would honestly be crying. That is one of my biggest fear, and a scenario I do not want to encounter. Also, the electricity that was striking the zombies were hand drawn. Someone was actually paid alot of money to draw in lightning.

The military experimented with the original walking zombies and created 245 trioxin and that chemical created the unkillable running zombies we have in here. Edit: also just realized Jessie wilson, the kid who called the military, has the same last name as Burt Wilson who called the military in the first movie.
You guys have completed me and have officially watched all my favorite gems. Now you guys are lucky you have seen this on blu ray with the original soundtrack. Otherwise the new re-edited movie has another sound track and its not so good. This movie is epic do to the music, including the grave yard scene when they all rise. Hey, You, me n the boobies, a feller from western PA here, home of the Living Dead franchise. We DO have plenty of houses that sport Terra Cotta roof tile for some insane reason. There's no explanation as to why the owners keep them that way, despite them being completely impractical in this environment, but yes, we have em.
The second one leans way harder on the comedy. I think it even pulls back on the gore. Even though it goes more for the comedy the first one is way better
Definitely prefer Part 1, it's just such a great blend of humor and hopelessness. This one veers off too much into not very funny humor. Though the thriller gag at the end is legitimately hilarious. They waffled back and forth all day during shooting whether it was too campy to use the Michael Thriller Zombie. Finally at the end of the day they said, "ok fine, get in there." That's why he runs into the shot.

Shame Tom Savini wasn't able to make the movie he wanted with that one. He said that movie was about...15% of the movie he intended, if memory serves. Still good, but could have been greater.
