Fabricating Custom Patch Panels for the 280z Interior

The rust behind the passenger seat has been cut of the 1978 Datsun 280z floor pan. Now we need to fabricate some patch panels to fill it in preparation for dropping the floor pan in.

I absolutely love your videos. The attitude of "I'll make it work" is awesome. I'm the same way. If you grind a Little grove on the foot of your c clamp, it will help with clamping your tube to your work bench. You can do it to either end, and parallel or perpendicular to the clamp foot. Keep up the good work.
Edit. Sheet metal screws work good as clamps too

I just bought a 77 280z and it also has a moonroof and is a rust bucket. this is by far the coolest build to follow because it feels like watching a tutorial series for MY car project haha excellent work man

also not sure if I'll keep the same engine, you got a JZ swap coming, others do RB or LS, not there yet so again not sure what I'll do.
