- Carp Fishing at The Islands Fishery in Wiltshire, plus in depth review of my Cobb BBQ.
Saturday March 23rd finds me loading the car and heading off to The Islands Fishery near Mere in Wiltshire. I have 24 hours ahead to try and catch, plus in the back of the car I have my trusty Cobb BBQ/cooker, and I'm looking forward to dinner tonight!!

Thanks Lee, they are great, we use ours more for camping than fishing due to size, but if you are able to take on the bank they are awesome 👌

Always enjoy your videos and the product focus section in this one adds a new and informative dimension. Been seeing the cobb bbq in loads of videos for quite some time. Look really good but unfortunately until I change my little car I’ve not got room for one.
Only criticism, I’m in my bivvy at around 9:30pm,and temperature is dropping outside . I’m watching this video and that pizza made me feel really hungry all of a sudden. 😂 looked and sounded spot on.

Ive just realised why the bottom of the cob does not get hot becuase heat rises. Thanks for video

Looks like a great bit of kit that, but can you not reuse that cobble stone then same way as you could the coal but wetting it ? Definitely gonna invest in one you’ve sold me !
No the stones are one use only unfortunately. But they are quicker and more convenient, the wife still thinks the cobb is one of our best buys ever!

Great vid, ur looking svelte, hope all is OK? How do you like the transformer chair??? What was that footage in the evening, planes, drones, fireworks? ..
Thanks Steve, yes diet going well. I really like the transformer chair, doesnt take up too much space and really helps when sitting on bedchair.
The evening footage was a couple of planes doing stunts covered in fireworks and shooting them out as well, quite spectacular 👌
One small point , you are using the lifting tool the wrong way around, using it as you are doing could cause everything to fall off.
Great fishery but spoilt somewhat now by geese and diving ducks 🙄 lazer pen now in tackle box
