In my experience. My fastag scanner doesnt work,they tried hand machine also. It was taking time so cars behind me keep on buzzing the horn (i also have done the same). Then we paid him and after crossing we replaced fastag and then it worked fine. Fastag is to save time in highway so if its not working pay them and go, dnt block others path. You ll get toll ticket bro . Dnt blame those poor workers

Tried twice. Toll shows blacklist where one toll cleared so after showing balance they allowed me. But deduction happened after 20min. So don't believe if they say your fast tag is blacklisted check your balance and show. There is a smart play they sometimes do by setting you up for new fastag.

You cannot run off without paying toll on any highway even if your fast tag is not detected by scanner. You have to buy a new one. I had a same experience.
