Losing a dog is like losing a family memeber, when you get attached so much to ur dog that dog becomes ur best friend for his entire life (the dogs life). I myself know how it feels...my dog was killed by coyotes and the worst part was i found her laying on the floor, don't want to be specific but you can imagine how my dog ended up it was the worst moment i ever felt in my life i had so much hate for coyote's, but then i understood that its the circle of life....people come, people go...just how life works. He was my best friend who was always there for me through all the good times as well as the bad just like Zeus was for you and your family. For those of you that say saying he's just a dog we'll you don't know the meaning of losing a dog until you lose one your self , when I lost my dog ,people didn't know why I would cry for some dog but what those people didn't know was that this dog wasn't just a dog , he was a part of the family and my best friend and yes there are hundreds , thousands but none of those dogs will ever be like my dog. It really hurts know that you will never hear his bark, watch him run, wag his tail because he so excited to see you. It's just the worst feeling you can possibly feel. Hope this clears it up for you
