Glad to see an update from you. Still amazed by how you are still confused about the weight of the vessel and the interior volume. GTs measures the interior volume of all areas combined (everything except open deck space) and more GTs is better. Weight (as in let's see if my crane is big and strong enough to pull the vessel out of the water) is measured in Tones (or just kilograms or pounds)
Seems like the M/Y I days were just yesturday, but I'm thrilled to see you on an Amels! Keep crushing it, man.

Awesome video. Please could you update how a South African could get into the yachting industry? Any recommendations on yachting courses in SA. In your older videos there was a crew website but doesn't seem to be updated or active.
Jared, was wondering where you have been and what you were up to. Was a little concerned but saw that you where busy getting happily married to Beccs and working on non-UA-cam stuff. Glad to see you are back. Your videos are always a welcome escape.
Question: Is it an issue for MY Come Together to come with finished interiors before being sold? I imaged that Yachts (in this category of elegance and above) are similar to private jets that are newly built. The purchasing owner selects all the interiors at a certain point in the build process so that it comes out to their liking. Thanks, mate!

Yay! Jared is back! 🥳 I was worried something tragic had happened in your life and that's why you stopped uploading. I was very happy to see clips from your wedding to Becca! You two are a model couple. *Amels* does make some great designs. I really like how they incorporate the structure into a guest space at 7:02. I've seen that before on _Here Comes The Sun._
As a slight correction to the video: at 2:10 you state she _weighs_ 853 gross tons. *Gross tonnage* is interior _volume_ (the amount of space inside the ship). Most luxury yachts are under 500 gt because of regulations, so 853 gross tons, this superyacht has more stricter standards than smaller, less voluminous superyachts.

Yeah I never liked them .... even the old 180's I thought the Feadship versions were nicer (High Chaparral etc) ...Winch does ok ....but same same ...Where are the murals ;) We remember you well from Sea Owl my friend ....good to see you are making your way in the world
$70 million for this...? Are they nuts...? Tankoa SOLO, a 72 meter superyacht much larger and more beautiful than this was $72 million...
I agree it's overpriced and no elevator. Owner is a super golddigger. Smart yacht buyer will buy based on size or GT volume. No one will buy this yacht which is ridiculously priced at USD81,000 per GT volume. Even the new beautiful Lurssen's AHPO was priced at USD62,000 per GT volume.
Did no one else pick up the wrong usage of gross tonnage??

It was more important. This video was a showcase of a yacht long after we were hired to film it for a client. This boat however has not been seen by many and this was the only way I could produce a video to showcase the boat. The UA-cam video was 100% an after thought and not part of the initial plan 😊 hope you understand what I mean.

Pretty bold of you to basicly abandon your UA-cam channel and then want to come back and expect 30 thousand new subscribers. You know in between the once a month videos you could have dropped some unedited shorts or TicTocs or Reels.
I suppose equally as bold to be presented with free unsponsored video content and expect when to receive it. My UA-cam channel is my first love of media creation. It’s provided me with everything I have today, it will be refreshed and uploads will be more consistent but there are other things in life I have to do to buy me that luxury, to hire a team to take on work that generates income for my business. I miss uploading and I’ll be back but it will be on a schedule that allows consistently in a variety of aspects in my life. 🙂 I trust you can understand that.

I was going to make a comment along the same lines. Disappointed that someone making yacht videos and is associated with the industry doesn’t know the basics.
