I’ve seen some trusted reviews and will more than likely get the shampoo. I love the products that are working for me, the deep conditioner and hair mask. I’m flexible on the shampoo because I hear that it is moisturizing.
Her curl pattern is very much like mine. My curls pop better than this using Mielle Pomegranate Honey line. Except I use the Mielle Babassu deep conditioner because the pomegranate Honey like doesn't have a deep conditioner. Curls be popping and smelling so good at a fraction of the cost of Fenty Hair. And without silicone and sulfate my hair is healthier.

I just hate that Fenty bought into the green washing fear mongering around silicones. Silicones simply make hair care work better. I agree. I have low porosity hair and water based moisturizers/creams/lotions actually makes my hair more dry since my hair doesn’t really absorb the product well on its own. Silicones actually help loc in moisture for my hair if I put it on last. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
@@TheeDeadDoll you should try using heat on your hair. I know the popular idea is that heat is bad for your hair but that’s not necessarily true. A medium heat blow dryer used on low porosity hair helps to temporarily lift the hair cuticle allowing the hair to absorb more water & product rather than it just sitting on the outside of the hair. Using heat tools with plates like straighteners and curling irons etc are damaging to the hair but blow dryers are nowhere near as hot and don’t denature proteins in the same way. My hair never feels as soft and bouncy when I air dry as it does when I blow dry. Try using a diffuser attachment as well. It helps prevent frizz😊

I always say back in the day we've used all those ingredients and our hair were magical all of a sudden its not good no more i think when something is too good and they say stay away from it its an indication that it is actually good and idk why they be doing all that.

@@mochalatte5715i agree to a degree you can protect your hair more with braids or twist without a wig being that you dont need to secure it with a tight band or lace glue/spray plus the layer of stocking cap plus lace /cotton wig base drys out our hair. We wore protective styles for centuries in Africa and in the diaspora for centuries wuthout covering it with a wig that most times doesnt look like our own hair
@@yassine8935 Yes there are many protective styles, but we have to be honest, some women in our community have either traction alopecia or thinning hair because of the tight styles like braids for one, twist are not too bad. But slapping on a wig isn’t doing anything to the hair but covering it. The lace glue is essentially applied to the forehead or skin before the hairline, not the actual hair. if they are applying it to the hair, they are doing it wrong. And I would hope that in this day and age, no one is actually gluing weave onto their hair like back in the day. My hair flourishes under wigs because I’m not manipulating it too much. Everyone has their preference.

Quantity/Price makes it seem like it's not for people with curls or coils (because they need more product), not for people with long hair (I'll never understand growth/length retention lines that have small expensive products..), and not for people who wash their hair often (which can be really important for people with dry hair, frizz-prone, fungal/inflammation issues, etc).

@@MikaNTey For my hair to be hydrated and happy, every strand needs to me coated. Some products are more spreadable and hydrating than others, but I almost *always* find curly/coily haired people using the most product. You should watch how stylists do the hair of people with curly hair.
