I highly highly recommend you try the keto diet to help you get pregnant. It really really works!! Search on UA-cam the words: IVF and Keto and Carnivore. You'll see doctors like Ken Berry talking about it and you'll see stories from women and comments from women who got prego. I was watching another doctor's QA video on UA-cam and had a patient where she her period stopped for years but went full Carnivore, got her period after a few months on Carnivore, got pregnant 3 months later. Too many carbs will cause your hormones out of balance. You have to change what you eat completely. Plants are highly toxins and full of oxalates. Please Please research. God Bless & Take care
I pride myself to be a pretty decent cook but I have never been in a relationship with a man who complimented my food like Josh does to you. He is truly a model of a man who understands how to express his appreciation for his wife’s talents and efforts. I love watching you two interact. It is so heart warming. TQ
it helps if you are almost Masterchef winner
We might be decent cooks, but Gabi graduated Cordon Bleu and won Masterchef Korea. I think her food just might be that complimentable. Besides, he was craving it.
Gabie’s videos are so relaxing. I always come to her channel when I’m feeling stressed.
Me tooooo!!!❤
@@bokdorinuna i feel the same! but i would have to watch her videos everyday and all day 😄😒
same! she has such a nice energy~

i love the amount of love, support, and appreciation Josh shows for each and every single meal you make. your videos are always so cozy, Gabie
Josh is a lucky man, and he clearly knows it.
Josh is more and more like an ahjussi when he talks in Korean 😂
Josh is so funny hahaha gabie was looking flustered when josh said he wants some hot soup and soju 😂😂😂

Josh’s appreciation for good food is always so satisfying to watch. Loved seeing the process on making this dish. Lot of work but apparently worth it.
We put rice into hot soups here in Brazil as well! There's "canja de galinha" (a chicken soup with rice and veggies), and "sopa de feijão" (beans soup which sometimes also has rice in it). Cheers!
Wowoww i never heard! So much to learn
@@gabiekook We put rice in soup in Central America as well - we also enjoy nurungji but we call it concolon.
@@gabiekook Chinese people have rice in soup, although I don't know how to write it in Chinese. Japanese people have chazuke, which is sometime made with broth.
Love your videos, Gabie! You and Josh are so perfect together! My family is from Puerto Rico and we always put hot rice in our chicken soup and we make a dish called, "Asopao". Your channel is amazing and I have learned so much. Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes! ☺️

I'd say there's a fair amount of SEA countries that have rice with hot soups. Cambodian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, & Japanese soups are what I'm most familiar with though, but I thought it was commonplace to pair hot soup and rice.
Yes, of course. That's a pretty common pairing. Gukbap, though, is mixing the broth with the rice in one bowl. They were talking about dumping the bowl of rice into the soup, I think.
Josh, you really lucky to have a wife knows how to cook so good. Yummy
So many cows from josh! Shows how much he appriciated gabbie for doing that for him!❤❤ WOW EVEN COWS ON A BIKE!! the ultimate!
There's a famous dish in Hong Kong called claypot rice and towards the end of finishing the pot, we add soup/broth with the remaining rice. Also, our meals are usually accompanied with soup, so we add rice to it and call it "Lo Fan."
Oh yes in Korea too, in a hot stone rice, u take out the cooked rice, pour hot water to cook the scorched rice to have at the end of the meal 😆🍚
Yum! @@gabiekook
I actually do mix my rice in broth (soup). And I love this dish, is reminds me of home. Hello (I'm Vietnamese) from Finland!
I really love the way Josh reaction.. As person who love cook for other.. I really appreciate Josh reaction and it's make worth to made even it take days to make it.. I've made this soup before, and yeah it's a lot of work, but it's honestly super rewarding. Looks amazing all laid out on the table.
Gabie never disappointed me in one single video that she made, always awesome

Gabie’s labor of love for her hubby. Worth his appreciation and happy eating for both.
josh better get down on his knee and kiss your feet for this level of dedication. that's a insane level of effort
Korea is not the only country that puts hot rice in hot soup. Japanese people make "napa" (cabbage) soup with pork and eggs and we serve it over hot rice. We also make ojea rice with the leftover soup by adding rice until it absorbs all the broth, we add green onions, eggs and white onions. I believe some Hispanic cultures also add hot rice to broth. I guess this is why I enjoyed seeing you eat the soup this way. It is familiar to me.
Which region can I find that? I want to know for my next Japan trip🙏🏼 i traveled to tokyo kyoto and okinawa and was craving to have hot soup to put rice in it..at one point i put rice into miso soup 😂 🍲
In Vietnamese culture, we have different types of "canh" or soup, which you put rice into the hot soup as well! This is more an every day dish, rather than something labor intensive like pho, bun rieu, bun bo hue, and other noodle-soup dishes! We love eating rice with soup as well :)
Your cooking videos are so soothing… literal art
Gabie please , please ,please open your own restaurant just to show people the true Korean food , love the vlogs with you and josh hope you both are doing ok ,sending hug and love to you both 🥰
youre the best Gabie! i always laugh when i hear the ummm and then see the cow!
I wish UA-cam had Taste-o-Vision. That's some hard work Gabie! Well done!
We will continue supporting you and your channel. Keep working hard.
I’m not Korean but I love adding rice to my soups.
A lot of Vietnamese soups like the sweet and sour and eggplant soup are also meant to be eaten with rice in it. That's probably why I love Korean soups so much. Didn't realize not all Asian cuisines do that...

there is a dish called 'Pao fan' (Chinese name), which means 'Submerged Rice'! It follows a similar fashion where the hot rice is meant to be added and eaten in the soup^^ However, the soup is seafood based - think prawn, etc, making it usually very umami-filled! We top it with more seafood (traditionally), or meat, if you'd like - but the key is adding puff rice on top as a crunch topping! Broths can vary from something lighter i.e
'more clean tasting' to richer, thicker/creamier broths (there's no diary, though). It's rather popular in Singapore, especially in modern times after premium versions of it started appearing, like chefs using lobsters.
This sounds soso amazing
Chinese-style "paofan" is somewhat similar to the Korean version, but it uses a bit of spice (such as star anise八角,clove丁香) to mask the gamey taste of the meat and has a broth that's more oily in flavor. A significant difference lies in Korean paofan broth, which aims to maintain the fresh taste of the ingredients while using plenty of water to create the stock and removing excess oil during cooking, resulting in a cleaner and relatively less oily approach. Sometimes, when I miss Korean-style rice soup in China, I've often tried paofan, and it brings back memories from the past. Hehe! While they share similarities, the distinct use of Chinese spices results in a noticeable difference in aroma and taste.
We dont want your chinese food info.

Gabie I have a question. I've never seen anyone use strawberries before in their sauce. Is that something you always do, something you picked up and liked or was it for the sweetness because you didn't have apple/pear? I love watching your YT cause it helps me with my Korean and learning about food.

Such a long process! Great work Gabie!
I'm not sure if it is actually considered part of the cuisine in Poland, or if my mother just decided to add her own flair, but my mom would always add rice to hot (Polish) soups as well. Seeing you two put fresh cooked rice into the broth, totally reminded me of my childhood!

Just wanted to share something after hearing your discussion at 13:14 - There are actually loooads of soup-based meals (viands, or "ulam" as we call it in Tagalog) in the Philippines! We Filipinos eat rice for every single meal (literally every. single. meal.) because it's our staple food, and each day, it's basically just a matter of what viand or "ulam" we pair with rice for each meal. So if we eat fried "ulam", that's paired with rice. Saucey "ulam"(s) are also paired with rice, and definitely soup or broth-based "ulam"(s) are also paired with rice! I loooove getting a bowl of piping hot "Sinigang", "Bulalo" or "Nilaga" (among many other options) and adding steamy hot white rice into the bowl and eating it that way. We also have a variety of rice soups (?) similar to Congee, but usually with stronger, more ginger-y flavors - Goto, Lugaw, and might I add our DESSERT rice meal that also kinda looks like... soup. It's called "Champorado", and it's basically hot chocolate rice that we add condensed or sweet milk to, usually adding fried anchovies as garnish for that classic 단짠단짠 experience. It's tradition to eat this on rainy or cold days! Anyways, I hiiiiighly encourage you to look into these Filipino dishes, and you might find that they're very similar to a lot of the comfort food you have in Korea. It would also be really great if you could cook some of these on your channel! I'd love to see you guys try Pork Sinigang 🥺 Thank you, and keep making these videos! I really enjoy watching your content, Gabie 💕Always rooting for you and wishing you the best!
P.S. - In case you do end up making Pork Sinigang, I strongly advise that you find and use "Knorr Sinigang Mix" (it's a pack of powdered soup/broth flavoring, basically) otherwise it's NOT Pork Sinigang! Hahahaha.
+1 to sinigang and bulalo 😋
Sinigang sa gabi! Because it's Gabbi cooking 😅😂
That looks amazing! I feel like it would make a great breakfast too.
We have it in Malaysia too. Its called "sup ekor", we normally eat it with plain white rice. The difference is that, the broth is added with variety of spices but colour is almost the same.
