This song is one of my favourites. It looks like they are having such a good time. No BS, just rocking out and having fun with it. They were so incredible at this time. If you really think about it, they were so young then and the talent was mind blowing. Oh and yes,,,,, Hair, you betcha no shortage of hair on that stage. lol lol Thanks for doing this reaction. I love this.😍🤘🤘🎸🎷🎺🎹🥁 🤘🤘😍
I freaken love love love a slide guitar solo. My uncle used to play that when I went for a visit. I would just sit and listen for ever to him play. So whether or not that influenced my love for it I dont know but I sure do love to hear it now. 😃😃🎶🎸🎸🎸
1.) When he was talking about someone "whose name slips my mind." who helped them write it a year before Mr. Brownstone was he talking about Paul Stanley from KISS? I know before the first album he came to their place to help them get it together (as they were more interested in doing Heroin than finish writing it) and they ended up hating each other to the point where I think even now they're on bad terms. I know about that, but was there anyone else involved he could have possibly been referring to? 2.) I miss this brief period in music where bands infusued elements from other genres you wouldn't think they'd try into their songs. This with the heavy blues influence and Bon Jovi adding in (not exactly sure what to call it) like Western Folk music type vibes in song like "Dead Or Alive". Or the GNR song "Dust and Bones". Then it just stopped and I haven't heard anything like this ever since those times. I loved it and wish it would make a come back.
Might've been talking about Steven Adler, but either didn't want to give credit due to tension over the lawsuit, or advised by attornees not to say his name till the suit was settled.
@@chaospoet Come to think of it, it was probably Izzy. Izzy was more involved w/ song writing than Steven, I think, and Axl was kinda hurt by Izzy leaving, occasionally takin' little digs here and there, like the "Where's Izzy?" sign in the Don't Cry video.
@@michaelthornton311 I was like "Maybe." Until you pointed out the sign from Don't Cry and that is an excellent point. Also makes the most sense. It likely was Izzy he was referring to.
He was definitely talking about Izzy.. Adler didn't write any songs. Bad Obsession is an Izzy song. *"Bad Obsession" is the seventh track from Guns N' Roses' Use Your Illusion I album. It was written by Izzy Stradlin and West Arkeen.*
The definition of a rock band !!! There will never be another Guns n roses
When that lead guitar kicks in it's so spine tingling I've been listening to this song for over 20 years and it still gets me everytime

The live version really makes it so much better than the album version. It’s amazing

I've been a GnR fan since '87, but I've never heard this!! So cool, thanks.
WTF ? this whole show was released in a 4cd pack.
Bad Obsession is from Use Your Illusion I album. If you have never watched/ listened to the Tokyo 1992 concert, you should. It is SO awesome! :)

@@michaelthornton311 Thank you. I knew there was something I was forgetting. I forgot about Adler and the lawsuit at the time.
