The sound was fantastic. I couldn't imagine how they pulled that off in that theater which was pretty much a rectangle. I figured the sound would get muddled bouncing off the walls and coming back into the audience, but it was very crisp.
Finally, a good quality version! Thanks for sharing..❤. And the song.... i DO wanna hear "More" and more..and more.. Love how they still mix styles....and yet can produce a very personal (TW) song. Hope the girls don't burn themself out, doing these hectic tours...
WOW I JUST KEEP LOVING THIS SONG MORE AND MORE. DPA ROCKS AND RULES🤘😎🤘🎸🥁🎸 TOM INCREDIBLE SOUND AND VIDEO CLARITY. THANK YOU SO MUCH. HOPE TO SEE MUCH MORE FROM THIS SHOW.👍👍👍
I was surprise they did collab in the song writing, but at the same time, I know they are still growing and learning, all the artists do at almost any age. I'm happy they do, they continue exploring, it means they are still curious and will learn more ways to deliver what their mind is creating. I really want to hear more about what they have to say thru their music without the obstacle of the ignorance or manipulation. Viva The Warning!
You know that this song sounds absolutely 💯 percent better live. It sounds pretty decent on my cell phone. Waiting for DPA to come to Phoenix KUPD fest.
@@azzurri70 I saw that too. Front row vs balcony is a trade off, for sure. The mix from the balcony sounded great. While front row makes for a great video, the sound can suffer. Such first world problems!
So, a collab. Well, something new for band, I think?. Would love to hear the story, how The Warning contributed to the song, what parts, who got the idea, the lyrics, the meaning. That would be interesting. Songs really rock, but, little bit different, can't wait to hear the whole album if they did one. Keep Rocking The Warning! 🤘
The Warning spent some time earlier this year in songwriting sessions with other musicians. This is the first result of that to be released. And I do want to hear more about it.
@@cirith100 while these lyrics are a departure for them, it’s also worth noting that the band members were almost three years younger when the last album was written. That’s a long time for a person that age.
It's funny how everyone now, knows everything about The Warning's songwriting and how the label is making them do this and that, all because the song didn't suit their taste, same uproar with every new song or collab, Doesn't their label also represent GVF? have the label changed their music? NO, couldn't it be possible TW make their musical choices? YES it is, they're just different bands. DPA are an outspoken bunch and they've expressed their eclectic taste in music, a lot of young bands go through experimental phases and TW is no different, I mean This, is their moment to explore the musical possibilities, they can't stand still, or become stagnant, they're growing musically! This is their time - I give them a lot of credit. There was an uproar about Queen's release of Another one bite the dust, the lyrics were called cheesy, the band sold out to disco. some people called Metallica's Atlas, rise! a victim of an creatively stagnant band. And there cannot be any reasonable expectation, that every track or album from a band however good, will please all the people all the time, there's songs from my two all time fav bands, Zeppelin, and U2 that I don't like, it doesn't mean I stopped liking the bands, it only means I didn't think that song was for my taste. The Beatles changed, (for the best imho) from their first phase. The Warning have a lot to offer, and a lot to come from them... If only we let them. ⚡⚡⚡
Very well put. I was only 50-50 on the song overall when I first heard it, there were lots of elements I loved, and after about 12+ listens I like it a lot more. Same thing happened with their song Money. I've learned to trust the girls, they know how to create music I love. And I do not understand how anyone could think The Warning would release anything they did not like - have they not seen the TEDx talks, the stories of the label negotiations?
Exactly. This one's not my cup of tea either, although admittedly I said that about Martirio also until I heard it live; it's now one of my favorites. I've fully expected from the get-go that at some point they're going to do something not to my liking. I'm not surprised that they're experimenting, and that's a good thing.
As per usual Tom you provide the BEST audio and video! Kudos to you and also to the best rock band ever (my humble opinion of course) Please keep up the great work!
It was a cowbell. Pau changed it after it's debut in Mexico. From a block to a cowbell in San Diego. It does sound better with a cowbell than a block. Now Pau created a new *Frankenstein.* WE NEED **** MORE **** COWBELL!!
whoa, this cel phone recording has AMAZING sound for a live recording... the vocal and drums and bass and guitar balance are great, and it has an overall HEAVY ROCK sound that is the sound I was trying to go for in my remixed/remastered multicam version from the debut concert. This one on it's own is very cool and is going directly into my saves! NICE WORK! Love the sound and energy in this version. Interesting that Pau is still on cowbell... I'm one of the few who prefered the percussion block (a wood block variant) from the debut... adds more unique character imho... but cowbell is so classic and cool so I get it. I just recorded a reaction to this version.... will go out probably tomorrow sometime...
The guitar part during the bridge is back to what it was in Aguascalientes. Dany added a few licks in San Diego that made it more interesting and gave the song an even harder edge. I hope she continues experimenting, but my guess is that the studio version will be this simpler version, unfortunately.
I didn't really like the official over produced song. But, i knew it was going to sound great live. And it does. I'm really not even sure it needs the backing track at all. But, it's ok toned down like in this video. Like Money, its definitely catchy. Keep up the great work girls! Thanks for the good quality audio Tom.
I was amazed how tight they were. Like really, really tight. Like embarrassing other bigger named bands level of tightness. Like impressing James Brown level of tightness.
Was a great show. They are so good live. Didn't love the way Dany's voice sounded. I don't know if it's the mike or soundboard. But a liitle cartoony when she was in higher ranges if you ask me.

The sound of the bass in The Regent was great. But Bruce Dickinson snuck in and turned up the mic on the cowbell too much. You can't hear it in this video but for about 30 seconds it was Cowbell and The Warning.
