someone at blizzard was like "lets give this robot ptsd" and now we have bastion
I think these shorts and just things some characters say are super realistic representations of PTSD and other mental disorders too. Like there's a good chunk of characters with mental disorders that are prettt well defined
It’s amazing how they portrayed PTSD with a robot. And showed his inherent goodness fighting and struggling with his programming and ptsd.
Then all the symbolism. With the bird, not only representing free win and freedom but also his good side and reminding him to live in the present. And when that bird comes back putting him literally in the middle of the screen in the middle of the forest and the city, torn between 2 options, the conflict in his mind etc. This was just after he thought he killed the bird, killed off his good part so to speak, and afraid to hurt something else in the forest.
Before finally showing him walking away from the city and picking the forest, choosing freedom and goodness. The beauty when the bird tells him, “hey it’s alright” with that little twig. What an amazing way to humanize a robot…
YEEEESSSS!! do a part three I love seeing new ppl react to overwatch I would suggest also doing the hero introductions and maybe reading the comics there’s so much to know and it’s all pretty incredible it’s what’s kept me playing since beta and all the cinematics take places on maps like deathmatch maps, old maps aren’t in the game, or that are still in the game

All were good but something about the last bastion is very wholesome to me and it's an amazing story with 0 dialogue that is just easy to grasp and appreciate
Seeing new players experience all of the cinematic for the first time is so heartwarming. Blizzard really put a ton of effort into them, and I'm excited to go on the journey with you! Can't wait for part 3

Even now years after the Sombra cinematic came out I still wonder if she ever gonna flip sides because I feel like she playing a dangerous game with Talon.
Fun Fact: Since Polish voice actress of Sombra is Anna Cieślak, the same actress as for Ciri from Witcher 3, the Polish localisation team put Geralt's Polish actor for this Russian soldier "I cannot wait until the inspection is over" 15:50
Bastions ultimate are 3 mortar shots from the sky and Blizzard disabled Bastion because a bug makes his Ultimate shooting theoretically infinite mortars (in that given time, so as many as you can click)
The more I see these older cinematics of Overwatch the more I think of the silliness of the meme versions of them. Especially Hero and Infiltration's versions lol
If you think Nerf Bastion is annoying in OW2, never search how broken he was in OW1
I remember when for some absurd reason they gave Bastion a new passive and when it was released he had like 75% damage reduction in turret form which pretty much made it impossible to kill him and this was when it was popular to set up on the play load with orisa since she was pretty new at the time
Remember when we could run 5 Bastions/D.Va + 1 support (before role lock)? Chaos.

How the fuck is bastion overpowered in ow1 and 2 he needs to good teamwork to win his hit box is huge and can easily be taken out by long range and flank dps bastion was only good in payload in ow1

Sombra is my favorite character look, personality, and VOICE (love her voice actresses job with her...so smooth and sexy). She actually seems like a "real" person, not a video game character like some do. Her talk is casual and kind of flirty, like a real person may be. She plays things cool and is always on top of things.
"Am I attracted to this?" For me it's always yes with Sombra lol
Its great. I love living vicariously through new players experiencing stuff for the first time. Gives back some of that magic I felt the first time I watched them.
i dont care about the eating, but i think i understand their perrsepctive, i think you were averting your gaze or something, or looked like it, and i think thats what they was upset about
The Last Bastion along with a few other characters (Solider, Dva) show A LOT of realistic signs of PTSD and mental disorders. :(

ok for reference on bastion, after since he got his rework his ult is brand new, normally your supposd to get 3 mortar shots, or however many you use in the time limit of the ult, which is at max 3
,however, people found a way to get infinite ammo during his ult which lasted for the remaining duartion of his ult

Love your reactions to Overwatch cinematics. I'm a veteran player and I recommend watching Honor and Glory, it's about Reinhardt's story, it's the story of all Rein in the game. You'll notice when looking at the cinematic

Here’s the thing when it comes to Widowmaker technically she is considered a bad guy to most but I don’t actually consider her as one. She was actually married to someone who was in overwatch and she got kidnapped they brainwashed her and essentially “sleeper cell”ed her. She was then released, reunited with her husband and than was Activated to then murder her husband than she went back to the bad guys so she’s only a bad guy because of the brainwashing that was done and when she went back she had her experiments done on her that made her blue. And when it comes to Sombra she’s not really good nor bad she just kind of does her own thing she doesn’t have any allegiance to anybody but herself. Reaper he’s just selfish he just wanted to be more in power and he didn’t like being passed over for Soldier76.
She still visits her husband's grave, too. Very much a victim. On the bad guy team, but a victim nonetheless.
Reaper is a bit harder to pin. Depending on the source material, he was perfectly happy not being in charge, or he nearly wanted to kill Jack then and there. Kinda inconsistent. That is the biggest piece of lore that needs to be resolved, I think.

jesus christ is it so hard NOT to eat while watching? like you have at least 23 other hours to eat, but you choose to eat while recording....the ignorance and lazy approach of some people is beyond me... and they demand you watch and appreciate their videos after such behaviour
im new too and it seems support characters are just so bad in this game😭
