Man! We sometimes forget how truly gifted the late, great Johnny Griffin was: a real artist, who played with so much depth and soul. And let's not overlook his fellow band-mates on this gig: Kenny Drew, Ed Thigpen and Mads Vinding--a tight, talented crew of masters who fit in perfectly on this album.
And Bernie, don't sweat the tracklist, brother; that sometimes happens... Thanks for posting a really nice "LP" (I'm dating myself)...!
