Actuator is the hardware that causes the change to the process such as a valve or pump. The controller is the algorithm that decides how much to change the actuator to achieve a set point target. More information is available at apmonitor.com/pdc
"Sensor fault" implies that something has malfunctioned while "cyber attacks" could imply system damage or sensor changes due to malicious intent from a bad actor with access. See this webinar on OT Cybersecurity from Eddie Habibi: ua-cam.com/video/Zc4uzFZvdtI/v-deo.html
Any short descriprion in how to control proces fow example: from an analog sensor( 4-20ma transduser for pressure or temperature) can control a vfd or an actruator servomotor. A plc is required or have other possibilities. Thank you
The course at apmonitor.com/pdc helps to answer those questions. Specifically, here are valve design information: apmonitor.com/pdc/index.php/Main/FlowValves and sensors and signals: apmonitor.com/pdc/index.php/Main/SensorSignals and apmonitor.com/pdc/index.php/Main/StabilityAnalysisExercises (see Problem #3).
I am a victim of gangstalking (where criminals in authority lie about the victim to get the public to do evil things to the victim). Since last July, the criminals have been slowly poisoning me in my home. They have hooked up the whole house so that various gases and vapours are emitted into every room, including hallways and stairs. The process appears automated (but which can be manually overridden). For example, if I open the windows to ventilate the house, gas comes in through the windows. I suspect the gases and chemicals are being stored in the house next door. But I don’t know what sensors or gas delivery system they have hidden in my house. Any ideas how they are achieving this and how to detect the sensors and locate and remove the gas/chemical delivery system?
It sounds like you need to hire someone with a chemical sniffer to find the source of the leak. That sounds like a hard situation. It don't think this video will help you.
This is the best video I found on this topic! Huge thanks!!!
I'm glad it helped. Check out apmonitor.com/pdc for more course material.
Amazing explanations and examples. Thank you!
Thank you! explains really well
diff between actuatir and controller being ?

@@apm Thanks I get it now !
Good evening sir. I hope you are doing good. Sir i have a question ?
what is the main difference between sensor Faults and cyber attacks?
