- First Timber Frame Chisel Production Run
We are finally into a production run of timber framing chisels. We are making 2', 1-1/2" and 1" chisels. This is getting easier and a little more streamlined all the time. There is a lot of interest in these and if you're one of those who are interested they will be listed on the website as soon as they are complete.

Thanks buddy
Looking good Jim. That anvil you "ruined" by welding is holding up pretty well, LOL
I'd say it's holding up real well. Thank you Roy.
Great video, Jim. As you, I'm a tool guy too. I love the quality craftsmanship you strive to produce. This is what a proud american does. I'll be heading north in June for a few months. Maybe we can get a chance to have a cup of coffee and shoot the bull for a few minutes. Maybe woodsman days at Booneville?
I'll see what's going on for sure.
sounds good definitely on next one also press still as good as day you brought it to life
Another great video Jim. Thanks. Happy Easter to you and your family.!!
👍👍👌👌 Well done Jim! Thanks for the video.
Good morning Jim. Nice job on those.

@@TheTradesmanChannel let me rephrase…. Looking forward to what you decide regarding the striking end of the handles 😉
Great video Prof, we will watch what you put out

How awesome did that press of yours turn out thanks for sharing Jim 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I love that press, it is worth its weight in gold.
Awesome work!
Keep it up !!!
This is awesome man!
Thanks buddy
Great job Jim! As usual quality work! I enjoyed the video, I like that you go straight into the work. Keep the videos coming! Don’t worry about having to make a living for your family. Have a good one my friend.
Very interesting jim
Hi Jim!
Just love to have one of them in my collection. The fact that you made them and were they came from!
Thank you. I should have some listed on the website by next weekend. Hopefully.
Will you be going up to the woodland to harvest anymore timbers this year.
Jim, do you have a website to get the pricing for your chisels. The timber slick looks sweet. Thanks
I don't have them on the site yet but I will hopefully this week. I can give you the pricing:
2": $130
1-1/2": $120
1": $120
How do you like your Makita grinder? I have an old 9" Milwaukee corded and I keep going back to that, it has higher RPMs, and has a lot of HP. A new cordless Bosch has none of the features of the corded and shuts off if run hard. At the wire mill we had an annealing oven that heated the wire overnight and was unloaded in the morning. I only helped once or twice.
I like it, low price and it has worked great. It sees heavy use.
@@TheTradesmanChannel OK
Nice work Jim. How much is one of e a ch size going to cost?
Hello Tim.
2": $130
1-1/2" $120
1": $120
What type of Steel are you using, please?
I use 1080 steel. It holds an edge well, sharpens nicely and is very tough.
@@TheTradesmanChannel Thank you, sir.
For you ahh…never mind. People love to sit on their couches and critique the hard work of others.
