Scotty, let me educate you on this topic.
China does not produce oil. They have absolutely no oil reserves. They have to import 98% of their oil from countries like Russia, Canada, and Venezuela.
So yes, they are heavily invested in electric vehicles. They don't have the option of becoming energy independent like the United States.

Let me educate you. China has oil. Lots of it. They are in the top 15 worldwide for oil reserves. They have more than Brazil, Mexico, Algeria and Angola. Now if you're talking about oil production, that's a different matter but they do have reserves and they do produce a not insignificant amount.

If you bring your own drinks, they charge "Corkage". Just get a room somewhere within your means. Why? We have taken vacations over seas where we rented smaller Toyota vans with 5 speed manual transmissions that only got about 20 mpg. They were great for a 2 or 4 week vacations. It was only about the size of a Toyota Camery in size being very easy to park. Try driving a 65 foot motor home through a down town or back dirt roads.

While taking more gas powered cars off the road is a good idea for the climate, in general that push comes as a way for big business to distract from their contributions to pollution and climate change. China leads the world in manufacturing to the point where they churn out more material goods than they or anyone else can even consume. So yeah our planet's fucked because there's no way they would change such misguided policy any time soon without a democratic voterbase to hold leaders at least somewhat accountable.

China doesn’t have untapped oil reserves just waiting to be drilled and sold. The same goes for most of Europe. Electric power they do have. With hydro and Nuclear, you can have the pixies flowing right to your house or Apt., easy peasy. Most Chinese and European drivers aren’t driving 60 miles one way to get to work a day like we do in the US. They don’t have a bazillion lifted 1/2 pick-ups doing those same trips, like we do. They don’t have Schools districts driving school buses 180 days a year, like we do. Kids in other parts of the world ride mass transit or walk to school. Non-oil nations don’t have massive rail systems like we do in the US. The UP and BNSF rail CO’s, burn almost more diesel a day than the US military does.
Obviously, the US could use less oil than we do, we just don’t want too. We like quick. We like the convenience. We love the independence. Plus, lobbyists run our political system.

(alas why often resorts are quite peaceful during the week)... so they see it as a way to increase revenue using the resort to its fullest.. most of these passes have set hours and are not offered every day.. ie you often cant get day passes on holiday weeks or peak spring break time etc... it hasnt yet made the places too crowded.. and you dont get a room.. the spa and ammenties like food / drink and typically pay extra anyway so the guests arent getting shafted...

What do you expect gasoline to do instead when the tank ruptures?

@@MarbleForkBandI don't believe that at all.. The ones in China catch fire all the time now.. I mean all of the goddamn time.. obviously we know trying to hides all of that information and doesn't want it out But you can literally see video after video after video of EV vehicle on fire in China.. just don't know if you know where to look.. But you probably don't give a crap anyways.. 🤷‍♂️ Don't know why you would.. I know I don't.. I just know that they are on fire all over the place in China probably because they aren't doing things the right way which makes 100% sense because everything is crap there.. but assuming they are all EV cars from the west then yeah I believe you.
