This is why freedom of speech is necessary. If Vorders spout some shite, if it's false, let them try and defend their comments. If their comments can be proven to be false,.then hold their feet to the fire and show them up for the ludicrous people they are. Public humiliation is quite a powerful tool.

That is not how slander and libel laws work. It is one thing expressing a view or criticising an action that is patently true but quite another making accusations of wrong doing about someone that are not true.
