The 4 way chuck might seem like an extravagance but I assure you, it comes in really handy when you're trying to saw a new doorway near enough flush with the floor, those extra few centimetres of space really help.
👍 Just ordered Dewalt 20V Maxx XR DCS367 compact reciprocating sawzall with 2 bigger 6AH batteries..paid full price so i hope it's great.. I do have many Flex batteries but the Two 6AH i ordered we're not Flex... With all your testing have you seen any difference between flexvolt and non flexvolt in the same AH.. Hopefully not
Good review on dewalt recip saw. You’ve also mentioned a quiet hammer drill in the video. Can you please tell me the model number of which dewalt hammer? Thank you.
Very well done David !!!! It's amazing how much difference between the 2ah and the 6ah battery is. T thanks for sharing your thoughts and videos as always, Rodney
Sideways blade position is for up-side down (or close) flush cuts. Mainly 8+ inch blades. You'll get more power out of the newer yellow packs that use the 21700 cells. Trigger is variable speed but VERY sensitive. Also, push towards the material when cutting. Warning: This thing will beat you to deth.
I noticed when you were using the drill you commented about how quiet it was. That’s the big reason I’m phasing out the use of my impact drivers and using the drills instead. It’s so much less noise. Also I hope you have a good accountant cause all the tools and consumables are tax write offs. You can also write off some clothing as a “uniform” expense - as long as it appears in a video You should be able to write off part of the garage space as a home office or studio. And of course your camera gear. If you don’t have an (LLC or any official business entity) production company set up. You should really do before the year ends.
I have this Reci-saw and the vibration is awful! I've been wondering how bad is the vibration on the DCS368W (Power detected) compared to this XR compact reci-saw. Any input?
Hi, Would like to see a new version of this dewalt compact reciprocating saw with less vibration. This looks like a very cool size to have. Again just needs less vibration. Thanks for the video
That’s the problem when you go lighter tool etc then you can get more vibration. Personally I don’t find that saw bad with the vibration but I am only using it for an hour or two a day.
Great video Mr. St. Nicklas! Yeah I know, but it's close enough. hehe:) I was on a multi state run the last few days so catching up on your vids now. I wonder why the HILTI has a fixed stop/guard instead of a pivoting one? Just curious is why I ask. Never saw that before, but I guess we will find out in the future from you when you do that video!
I use Diablo reciprocating saw blades, I'm considering Milwaukee blades, the only Milwaukee products I own are the Shockwave Impact Driving Bits. I'd like to see a Ryobi vs Dewalt Reciprocating saw. I'm looking into the Ryobi Brushless Saw as well as the other brushless tools
@@ManCaverTools I use ryobi for all my power tools and I use a different brand for my outdoor tools. I recently bought the rotary tool as a black friday free tool with the 3ah combo kit. I only have 1 brushless tool and in total about 20 ryobi 18v tools
I was gonna say I’ve used this saw with no Stalls so what’s going on here I’ve never even use the 1.5 ah hour battery on anything before never even heard of them except for on UA-cam videos are used 2ah or 5 usually
... excluding the futures this is a terrible reciprocating saw, a ton of vibrations, no adjustment on the shoe you are doing a better job with Milwaukee 12 volts .
Well then you should start calling the hilti, hil. Or the Milwaukee, milwa or the ryobi, ry...I don't realize that extra syllable was such a backbreaker.
@@ManCaverTools flex is more than just fine if that guy doesn't like it he doesn't have to watch...what a joke..I guess all abbreviations are outlawed in his house...😂😂
Wish I could show this clip to All the old salty Joe's out there who act like you're crazy when you say higher amp hour batteries gives you more power.... Their answer is always NO! it only gives you longer run time.. In your video you couldn't complete the job with the 1.5Ah and the 2 a h was slower and less powerful than the 6... Correct? How do you see it through your testing...
people tell me all the time that higher ah does not give you more power, but I proved them wrong. I did a video o battle of the AH for all brands and the 4ah majorly outperformed the 2ah on a single task. expect for the dewalt, the dewalt has the best 2ah battery
Makes sense though. A battery can only be drained with so much current without damaging it. As far as I know, top-of-the line Sony VTC6 cells can be drained with 30 amps. So, 3.6 volts x 30 amps = 108 watts of peak performance for a cell. A 2.0AH battery has five of those, so that'll net us ~500 watts of performance in a perfect situation with top-notch batteries. I believe that Dewalt uses cells with a 20A discharge, so 400 watts from a 2AH battery, tops. A 5AH battery has ten of those, so it should provide twice as many watts.
The 4 way chuck might seem like an extravagance but I assure you, it comes in really handy when you're trying to saw a new doorway near enough flush with the floor, those extra few centimetres of space really help.
This is my favorite recip saw
Ouip
I have that saw and love it! Thanks for previewing that saw
you are welcome and thank you
Just bought that saw but didn't use it yet. Didn't know that the batterys difference that much. Great testing video!

I had 4 but now I have 2, both 6ah. I gave 2 to my bother in-law
Got one too. I wish DeWalt would use metal levers for durability and longevity. This tool is light enough for one handed small tree pruning.
Damn you’re your step your game up. I love the intro with all your tools on the wall and the lights great job.

This is an awesome video ~ thanks for showing. Going to order one tomorrow! What blades would suggest (brand) for wood-work? Thanks!
Id get the milwuakee or diablo blades

they can get some stuff done
Is it brushless

I have extra security in the garage as well
That atomic was quiet and it impressed me
I do love the size of that compact recip. Hope one day Ryobi makes one like that or a single hand recip
I wish that as well, Id love to get it, im just waiting for new Ryobi tools to come out
They already did
Where
can I buy Dewalt XR compact reciprocating saw here in the Pilippines
I do not know and Im sorry Roberto
The great thing about the four position blade, is that if you don’t have room can turn the blade sideways.
I love that feature as well, sometimes cutting left and right will come in handy
On the battery it does have a fuel gauge it’s on the front of it
the 1.5 ah batteries don't. only 2ah and higher do
Somone sounds like they are buzzin 😂😂 i love a good drunkin review!
Nice video as always!
I thank you sir
which is better ? DCS368W1 or the one reviewed here in this video?
I like the compact version better, the one in this video. but the other one is more powerful
Mate i dont live in US. Do u think 4ah battery can handle this thing? Thinking buy one but only got couple 4ah. Plz advised. Ta

Why do so many in the trades think that "downfall" is synonymous with "downside"?

sawmill test. one of many
Much difference between the 5a vs 6a battery?
yes, there is a difference in power between different AH
