Watching Melee Juice's video "The Ugly Sides of Competitive Melee" and realizing that Fortune died almost two years ago is sobering. The man doesn't deserve to be summed up in one stupid joke, in one set, in one match across his life and career.
Fortune making SG lose a stock is on the same level as the old man who snitched on Haru in The Last Airbender, after saving his life, turning him in for using Earthbending to *save his life.* That old man is the most hated character in the show to this day.
I really like your input on these. Lots of interesting context added, you should almost call these reviews instead of reactions. Also, you drop that single and I'll sub in a heart beat ;D
It's so stupid that Hbox gets screwed over by the TOs this much. He tries to play by the rules, but they keep changing the rules. You can't read the rules before the tournament starts, because they can change during the tournament without informing the players. You can't ask TOs before each match, because you can be given the wrong information.
7:57 a situation like this happened to me. We where playing that it would be decided before the set of it was 2/3 or 3/5. So I decided with the TO for 3/5 but my opponent didn't know. He thought he won but then I came back and yea.
Funny thing about the Dave's Stupid Rule with M2K and the coaching between Hbox and SFat. "Since both players violated the rules the match will stand", M2K and Unknown both also violated the rules because they both willingly played on a stage that DSR fell under thus the match should not have been replayed.

An infinite combo system into a free win? I'm SCREAMING REGARDLESS BRO FUCK THAT IC WOBBLE BS
The hilarious thing is that Mike Haze was doing something that is/was pretty common in the FGC overall. If you look at the most famous FGC moment ever, the Daigo parry, you'll see Justin Wong (the guy getting parried) mashing his controller and screaming his head off in an attempt to rattle Daigo and keep him from pully off that insane parry.
It didn't work in that case, and it might be grimy, but on the other hand, its hilarious as anything
i never knew that
Ohhh no, not the Fortune clip. Holy moly how can you do smth like that in such a bro moment from SG
0:01 jigglypiff
yeah
"You should've asked me, we changed it last minute" how you didn't throw hands is impressive. I would've quit my entire smash career if that happened to me
Hungrybox should make a story time about cool or crazy things he witnessed in the smash community that we don’t know about; I would Definitely watch this and I think it would be entertaining.
That... that music that starts at 1:06... that’s from tales of Vesperia right? Editor, I love you
That takes a lot to watch a humiliating moment you were in like that man, I found out about you watching that amazing reverse pop off thing and I have been nothing but impressed with how cool you are in this community of infamously immature players. Never stop puffing my friend
Watching Melee Juice's video "The Ugly Sides of Competitive Melee" and realizing that Fortune died almost two years ago is sobering. The man doesn't deserve to be summed up in one stupid joke, in one set, in one match across his life and career.
16:00 Unfortunately SG lost to Fortune, Fortune was quite fortunate there
Fortune making SG lose a stock is on the same level as the old man who snitched on Haru in The Last Airbender, after saving his life, turning him in for using Earthbending to *save his life.*
That old man is the most hated character in the show to this day.
Dentist: "It won't hurt"
Kid in the next room: 16:28
the most controversial time is when someone threw a raw crab at u after u won, turning your joy into anger
I'm gonna comment something without even watching half of the video.
You're 90% of the early committee congrats
how bold
Congrats
Was that inferno omni commentating in the grimy puff forced SD match with fortune????
Is that GoldenEye 64 music playing when HBox is talking? Editor has good taste.
Bro you funny asf you had me on the “have you heard this track yet..” 😂😂😂😂😂
I really like your input on these. Lots of interesting context added, you should almost call these reviews instead of reactions.
Also, you drop that single and I'll sub in a heart beat ;D
Heel Hbox telling me why I should sub to him in the most sarcastic way possible is something I didn’t know I needed
3:49 My man's cheeks were showing
2:10 this is the best ad ever. I’m glad I’m already subbed.
It's so stupid that Hbox gets screwed over by the TOs this much. He tries to play by the rules, but they keep changing the rules. You can't read the rules before the tournament starts, because they can change during the tournament without informing the players. You can't ask TOs before each match, because you can be given the wrong information.
The last one is more genius than any combo glitch exploit or anything else any other smash player has ever come up with
I want that Christmas tree, so does the person reading this
True
True
True
Not true
Not really
The Mikehaze screaming is sooooo disrespectful, but dawg, that shit is FUCKING. HILARIOUS 😭😭😂😂
7:57 a situation like this happened to me.
We where playing that it would be decided before the set of it was 2/3 or 3/5. So I decided with the TO for 3/5 but my opponent didn't know. He thought he won but then I came back and yea.
Mike (Mic) Haze (Hazard)
Mikehaze definitely took notes on LittleZ's how to beat your friends in Smash video
that 007 Goldeneye 64 music brought me back. Love the videos, keep up the good work.
Nah the last one was Grimmy af lmao. Screaming at the top of your lungs midmatch shouldn't be allowed unless youre popping off for a stock etc
Agree. You're directly influencing your opponent outside of the game. Of course there should be a rule against it.
@@villekuismin277 i would have been pissed 😂
1:40 I feel like none talks about how leffen paused which should mean that he forfeits a stock also
Most of these are one of the following:
Stupid rule
Stupid loophole
Temper tantrum
Funny thing about the Dave's Stupid Rule with M2K and the coaching between Hbox and SFat. "Since both players violated the rules the match will stand", M2K and Unknown both also violated the rules because they both willingly played on a stage that DSR fell under thus the match should not have been replayed.
8:45 “This is from mr. [Redacted]...”
Who was that?
Mr. Wiz
These were serious but they were nothing to compare to what’s to come
Thank you Jojo Mama, very cool
