Removed Halo Features That Never Came Back From Every Halo Game

- Halo 2 had the Spectre, Halo 3 had the Mauler, Halo Reach had playable Elites and Invasion. At some point all of these features were removed and never came back. What things were removed from Halo and have yet to make a return?

It sucks seeing all the cool stuff removed from past Halos. I loved playing as Elites, fighting the Flood, and using all the old vehicles, equipment, and weapons.
Never forget what Reach took away from us :(
me too
Emmmmm halo mcc exists
@El Pancho Mayonesa It's not the same dude. I'm talking about for new Halo games.
@Carl Gunderson it's just like the original but in hd (you can play it on 720p like the original but idk why someone would do that) and in more languages because it's a remaster not a remake, it doesn't change mechanics
One of he biggest things I dislike about 343 halo, is that it seems each game is so different to the last
It's a good thing because each past title is so fucking bad. I hope the next halo game is similar to halo infinite
@@MisterChief711 I agree, it seems like they've finally made Halo their own while still having a fun gameplay loop and still feeling like Halo.
Change is good every once in a while otherwise it becomes stale. I wouldn't like to play the same Halo formula every time.
@@LaRavachole I think an infinite-type with more streamlined equiptment system and the return of dual weilding could make for an excellent sequel.
Nothing wrong being different.
Thats how halo was.
Now its bad to be different?
Rest in peace the hornet. Could deliver 2 buddies into battle and defend yourself
Falcon is much better balanced for team play. I'd say the Falcon and the Wasp could coexist pretty well
@@Espartanica the falcon could carry 5 people besides the pilot making 6 and if you're brave enough to stand on top of it that would be 7or hell maybe 8 you essentially could have your entire team in and on 1 single falcon
Don't forget the falcon
@@Shakon_Krogen I once carried a warthog on one, so you can do a lot more
Still can't believe we got the wasp over the hornet. Team dynamics in vehicles haven't really been something they like aiming for, instead making players feel more inclined to play independently and without vehicles. Vehicles having wet napkins for health bars doesn't help the independent desire to do vehicles much as it is
We really need firefight to return. It would be really great in Infinite. There are even areas in the campaing that are clearly designed for horde type scenarios.
Yeah the final mission where you’re fitting through old UNSC training rooms reminded me so much of firefight.
Honestly firefight too me feels like the weakest part of a halo game
@@matthewchristian9591 That would be the microtransaction store
@@matthewchristian9591 take that back you filthy heretic!
@TheAndice never we are all initialed to our opinions and for me fire fight was not fun
I did love warzone from 5 wish that would come back will all the enhanced weapons and vehicles just no rec pacs please
I miss the medkits from CE & Reach, it was always a relief feeling when playing campaign on legendary with one bar of health, and you see that little health box just sitting there.
That was a great mechanic, added quite a bit of tension when your shields were down and you're at one bar of health vs having a full bar.
I think maybe all the biofoam was used up for the other games.
At the same time, it also helped show technological progression, in reach and CE spartans still had to use conventional medkits to patch up and continur fighting, but once chief made it to earth they had better tech and armor prepared for combat use, which he was given.
I like when games do that, show case an advancement in technology over time.
@@fusionwing4208 Now it makes use want to see another prequel game during that era. Or just anything that differs from playing other classes again for once.
Why were there health packs in the library or the mission keys ? I understand from a game play perspective but no humans were at the library aside from the first reclaimed that was a odst but that was only in the books
Reach had an incredible feature in some random tab that would show you all the screenshots that anyone had taken of your spartan in multiplayer. Such an underrated feature that never made a return.
I know why tbh, that takes a lot of work to achieve
The only thing I didn’t like about Reach was that all the Elites looked more like Brutes or like they were all blind, that and the customization sucked for Elites compared to customization for Elites in Halo 3.
@@HUNKMrDeath-lt7kq The bulkiness was weird but the eyes which I'm guessing is what you mean by blind is because they wanted a more Halo CE approach to the Elites. Though I do wanna mention they at least were still nimble and weren't super bulky like they ended up becoming in H4 and H5 luckily.
@@wintereclipse3263 True, 4 and 5 suck ass.
Holy smokes. It's been so long, I had to dig deep in the memory banks to remember this! DUUUDE this was my favorite feature back then! I was absolutely blown away that it was possible!
I miss the bubble shield, it’s such a nostalgic ability for me
Don’t worry, I and many other are working in forge to figure I’m out how to make it again.
@@14megasxlr you forge workers are carrying Halo Infinite on your backs lol, thanks
I get chills when I remember that scene in the Halo 3 trailer when Chief use it to survive a Wraith attack.
@@LaRavachole same, I actually had a moment like that where I saw the plasma coming at me and threw it down, protecting me. Coolest thing I’ve done in Halo
Just a quick little nostalgic easter egg, on the halo 3 beta map snowbound, on the left top of the map in the little tube where the invisibility bubble spawn you can find a golden coin on the ground, this coin is a Canadian $1, this is because the creator of the map is Canadian
Some other things I miss are the sticky detonator, revenant, plasma caster, fuel rod cannon, and spartan laser. I just hope most of these lost sandbox items return in infinite someday, even if only in forge and custom games.
Sticky detonator was one of the best weapons 343 introduced. Such a shame it only ever saw action in one game.
@@TherapyGel I LOVED trolling with the detonator
Apparently there are a lot of old weapons in the game's code, some are even fully functional and have unique animations and sound effects, but for whatever reason they're still unobtainable.
@@Masterlink01 If I remember correctly, the fuel rod cannon and the original shotgun are in those codes so it is possible to see those returning
@@Masterlink01 they were probably scrapped out prior to the games launch similar to how the first battlepass had a lot of its items scrapped out (as far as im aware this was likely executive decisions, devs seemed to have a shit ton of stuff planned for the game). But they havent been finished and introduced into the game yet due to 343i having to fix their staff and the game over the past year. Heres hoping 2023 sees much more content and less delays
Small one.
You could see your Bullet Casings in Halo CE (Not Anniversary) haven't seen it since. They don't stay eventually they dissappear but I always thought it was cool.
It kind of made an appearance in Reach with the Scorpion Tank.
My favorite feature is the grenade chain reaction explosions that were around in Halo: CE and Halo 2; basically if there were any grenades on the floor within proximity of an explosion, those grenades would also explode and it would be so chaotic and fun 😅
YES
I remember combining that with piñata, and me and my friend somehow got Guilty Spark to be closer to the ground and kept punching grenades out of him. When we decided to set them all off, the game would lag like crazy.
In reach if there was any explosion near by it will set them off and you can even shoot them if needed and take out a few grunts jackal's and yes even a elite
wow even elites dude@@MultiTurbospeed
I played CE for the first time and used cowbell, in the first mission Anytime a grenade went off, the entire ship practically exploded.
The biggest one u forgot was split screen campaign. Some minor ones I love are the hornet, shooting grenades out of the air, and the name swat for the mode
How about most flying vehicles? Like we had several flying vehicles that ended up being 1 timers. Not to mention I'm not much of a fan of the banished banshee
@@JamesTDG I said the hornet. I wasn’t expecting being able to drive a scarab in infinite but I was expecting at least a pelican
I wish bungie kept the stealth scorpion. Or that 343 brings it back.
@@callumkristofer7793 The MCC team might since they mentioned they wanted to add some cut content into MCC
@@wintereclipse3263 maybe it could be introduced in halo infinite, for a mission.
I miss a level based progression Reach alike with all those military ranks, commendations, currency to unlock whatever armor you like. Also, it would be nice to have customizable emblems ones again.
Indeed, I miss my cow grunt
A note about proximity chat, since it was one of my favorite features of Halo 2's online play. Your team mates could always hear you, it was enemies that could hear you talking in proximity. It was actually an important mechanic for some game types. And it was of course extremely useful whilst teabagging. I'm sure that's what you meant though :) You guys constantly help me relive my teen years, so thanks for doing what you do!
To quote my dad, "SURPRISE BUTTSEX!" It was such a staple line we had in vc whenever we wanted to fuck with the enemy
Yes it is
I am glad that you mentioned the thing about lack of player collision and other physics interactions in Infinite, Halo has always been very physics based to me and it feels like infinite emulates some things but they are not really there in the same way they were in like 3 or reach.
Indeed, less physics than left 4 dead dammit!
@@JamesTDG why are you saying "less than left 4 dead" as if that game didnt have loads of physics objects XD?
idk, I prefer my teammates not blocking an entire doorway when I'm trying to leave a room. what 343 needs to do is allow for players to enable/disable it in customs
@@armstronggaming8566 no collision makes the weapon play and assassination inconsistent as fuck
@@williamwest9204 it really doesn't, and I play a lot of infinite
I miss the Halo 3 ranking system where social and competitive was merged. I always felt really invested in how I performed and ranking up felt super rewarding
In regards to Invasion mode balancing, I was hoping you might touch on the incredibly innovative community-created edit of it called "Winter Contingency" where it *combines* invasion AND infection, with class features, buffs, etc, that in my experience *fixed* the balancing very, very well! "Elites" start out with around 2 players, and get to choose very hefty loadouts to promote initial kills to bolster the ranks. Once dead, with added members, you can only pick more general fodder variants of either a grunt or elite ranks. It's the most innovative Halo mode I have seen since Invasion!
Genuinely, this mode has been the most fun Halo experience I have ever played in my time with the franchise, spanning back to Halo CE's release. Can't recommend it enough, it's genuinely incredible! The maps play insanely well. There's even a unique one where you play in a creative take on a Library mission, where one of the human players spawns as the monitor, helping the players with a unique set of skills and features only it has!
For the Plasma Rifle, the Brute Plasma Rifle was added in a expansion pack in Halo 5
And ODST
@@Espartanica In ODST it was sadly just a retexture however. Whereas in Halo 2 (and maybe 5 I never played it much) The Brute plasma rifle would do more damage, but would in turn overheat faster. So i'm a little sad that wasn't the case in ODST.
@user-pl7yv1hp2e Nope
@@whatm8516 It still does those things in ODST! Can even confirm it by using them together in Halo 3 since they backported it and made em dual-wieldable
@@JuiceboxCE Really??? Alrighty then. It didn't really feel like it when I was using it against the Flood in Firefight
1:05 Halo 4 had the “regeneration field” bubble that didn’t block projectiles but acted as a hybrid regeneration field from H3 but as a bubble. It also absolutely destroyed the audio by warping it within the field. Also had a chance to break the audio foe the rest of the match, even if you were outside of the field the audio effects lingered. Tragic.
Halo 4 seems to be bad with audio in general. Most of my campaign audio doesn't work outright. XBOX 1 S, MCC
I also thought it was really cool that players 3 and 4 elites in H3 were prominently featured in the Hunters in the Dark novel
That party up with teammates feature you mentioned at the end of this video was so so so good
One thing I miss is grenades setting each other off. The cataclysmic chain reaction detonations you could get was hilarious. Be nice to see it return, perhaps as a skull or forge option. Also, the OG Halo PC flamethrower had both ammunition and an overheat system, which I think was kinda cool. The plasma rifle in Halo 1 had a stun effect that slowed people who were getting repeatedly hit by it, which could make it unique enough to justify its return even with the new repeater type guns. Also the alien design of Covenant/plasma weapons. Now they're just fancy rifles.
Neat idea. Superbounces, sword flying, and button combos immediately come to mind.
To be fair, those are mostly unintentional/bugs the community embraced (mostly).
BXR!
I definitely appreciate that 3 was the only campaign where the story actually slightly changes based on if it’s solo or co-op, the rest felt like you were just forced inserted for game purposes so it created a bit of a disconnect for player 2 but 3 actually incorporates player 2 into the story so that you both feel like two unique characters fighting against every odd imaginable
7:00 you forgot the Brute Plasma rifles of H2A and H5G
Hard to believe that dual wielding was only in 2 halo games.
I thought the Plasma rifle making return in Halo 5 on memories of Reach ? I still miss the jet pack because it always help me reach overkill every match and now it gone.
We need scarabs in Infinite, what a missed opportunity. The only cool banished vehicle we got from HW2 was the chopper 😅
I was just about to type a comment about this, there was multiple instances where a scarab could have shown up and it woulda been awesome
We should have had Skiffs showing up and severely cutting back on the Phantoms, giving battles a more dynamic feel
@@Espartanica agreed, having all the enemies get dropped of by phantoms got old real fast.
That’s what 7 years of development gets You, disappointment
I miss playing with my small cousin halo 3 campaign as arbiter, and I really miss in general playing as an elite, its just like a different way to be than the others that makes you identify yourself with than spartans
Wish they come back soon, thats why I just stick with halo 3 multiplayer even if I suck playing, its pretty fun dying as an sangheili lol
Man, we really didn't know how good we had it in Reach
Another thing thats missing is the ability to see your own spartan or elite in the lobby, including other players
I mean- Infinite has it?
I did this youtube rewind thing I found online and you guys were actually my 4th most watched channel thanks for the great content this year
For the flood, they should have a side campaign like spartan ops which faces the flood or do it like black ops zombies and try to survive a long time against the flood
I tried to defend infinite back when the hate started a few weeks after release. Then I realized if I personally made a modern halo game, it would have been completely different. I would have brought it back to square one, and worked from there
Remember when the covenant for a short time no longer were understandable? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Wasn't that when Chief didn't have Cortana? I seem to remember such a thing.
@@MisterLongShot_Official it was in Reach and 4
@@ODST_Walker plot twist: cortana is what the chief uses to understand the covenant
I class Spartan Ops as a campaign, it has a story unlike firefight and directly impacted the canon
Edit: the Plasma Rifle is supposed to be a significantly updated Plasma Repeater hence its rarity in Reach's campaign
MCC supports this classification
I love hearing about differences between games and I was just thinking about this
thank you for uploading this
7:01 technically the plasma rifle was still in the game and was available through the req system and eventually made its way into some maps. Although it was referred to as the Brute Plasma Rifle.
I really want them to bring back Flood mode by fusing it with Infection. Combat forms have been able to use almost every Covenant/UNSC weapon so the restriction on weapons made no sense, and if you change the infected to be the Flood it opens the possibility for some interesting tweaks to the game using preexisting Infection rules like Alpha Zombies and adding some flavor with the Flood like the possibility to use different Flood Forms other than combat maybe even have the "Alpha Flood" being a Tank form or the cut Juggernaut, maybe even having a rule for when someone is killed by the flood instead of spawning in the normal random location on this first death they transform on the spot like in 2&3 having a handful of rules like how long it takes to transfor or if they get buffs or nurfs compared to normally spawning Flood
Playing as an elite with my spartan friend made me feel more at home
The Scorpion's co-axial machine gun. That was removed after Halo 3 and it gave the tank some anti-infantry utility, rather than have someone just hop into the turret.
Also the Missile Pod from Halo 3. Unfortunately replaced by the rocket launchers in later titles.
I forgot all about multi team and post game lobby. But those would be incredible to have again.
Even tho it was in the campaign of H5G, I wud luv to see custom huds make its way to multiplayer. I thought it was really cool to see what each character see from inside their helmets. And if 343 went that far for 8 characters why not do the same for all the helmets in multiplayer? Idk jus my 2 cents
HUDs should be based on the color of the visor and the helmet worn, to give them an extra layer of familiarity
Good lord I had a stroke trying to read this
Something that took me a while to realize is that Halo 2 is the only Halo game without an assault rifle.
I feel like very few even remember or know but in CE riding passenger in the worthog was placed into first person and just really enjoyed the feeling of actually being inside the worthog.
Technically the plasma rifle is in 5, but it's not the standard version and only appears in multiplyer
I just want one thing, one simple item that wouldn't be hard at all to include. One not a lot of people at all even talk about anymore
The SMG, just the SMG. I loved it, I was a beast with it in past halo games, it was so amazing
The coolest and saddest two for me was assassinations and proxy chat. I always enjoyed walking up behind an enemy and hearing their muffled voice under their helmet. Only to assassinate them and hear their muffled scream.
Good times.
W... was that the Megaranger theme used in the intro? I LOVE IT! One of the best Super Sentai theme songs.
Aww man you can’t fly the pelican in halo infinite anymore as a glitch😢
a halo waypoint style system would be nice. it would serve as a way to connect mcc with infinite. i remember unlocking armor for reach through waypoint so it would be nice to see something like that return for infinite. so for example, getting achievements in halo 3 odst would give you odst parts in infinite.
That actually exists already. Collection Conquerer, where you complete 3 of the 4 main series MCC titles on Legendary, gives you a unique emblem for Infinite and reaching max rank in Halo 5 gives you a special armor coating too. It's still going through Waypoint to unlock this content, but it could use some expanding upon
You forgot the older Halo's being rated M, now everything in rated T having less blood, lack of t-bag physics, and watered down explosions it seems haha.
Plasma rifle got added to Halo 5 multiplayer and I feel like the Lich in 4: Reclaimer and the Kraken in 5: Enemy Lines were basically the same thing from a gameplay perspective. Also there was that one scarab on Kikowani Station and plenty in both Wars games if theycount.
This is going to be a great video like always!
When times were simple.
No pay to win, no battle passes.
Just endless hours of fun with no sweats ruining the joy from it.
As I elite player, I am hurt by the lack of playable squid faces and no lore explaining their history as a species. This is why it needs a covenant only halo
the warthog run from both Halo CE and Halo 3 with the music blaring in the background is another feature I haven't seen in any other halo game
All the time being spent trying to hold out against the marines in the beginning of halo 3's crows nest was so much fun (and sometimes being called out by cortana or whoever at that moment when you kill enough) ; basically the marines not being static and often very limited in fights.
fighting the flood anytime they were on screen and seeing them reanimate after shooting them,
the hilarious death screams when masterchief or your reach spartan character dies,
The FREAKING ARBITER and you get to play as him, or at least you play as someone other than the chief like in halo 2 and the worse version halo 5,
legacy weapons such as plasma rifle, brute shot, or even the more niche weapons like the mauler or focus rifle are no longer supported,
pre halo 4 gauss hog with its deceptively fast fire rate, destroying anything that moves,
the halo reach banshee being stupidly janky and often times overpowered (I sometimes would get 20 kills on 1 banshee compared to every other iteration)
There were so many really cool scenarios you could put yourself in in the single player (bungie era) games, like how they took into account if you tried to teamkill your marine buddies, giving you a big open area to use whatever weapons to effectively kill the covies like when you reach your marine buddies in CE's assault on the control room, you're given a warthog with ai companions (assuming they don't die to wraith mortars) Sniper and a Rocket, after pushing on a bit you get a scorpion tank.
it's one of the best examples of how you'd want to face an obstacle by giving you options, on top of fun, unique enemies that correspond to eachothers actions. I care more about the single player experience rather than the multiplayer, the latter rather being draining on my senses having to deal with 1000's of theoretical scenarios against other human players, rather than having to come up new strategies against ai in a predictable pattern, but hey..... that might just be me lol
I barley played any halo games and i love this channel. My brother and I got an original xbox for Christmas and we didnt even know what an xbox was lol are dad also got us halo CE for it and we didnt know what that game was either but my little brother was IN LOOVVE with it and i would play with him when i was bored over the course of halo CE - Halo reach. ODST story, firefight and soundtrack hit me in a way that no other halo did so thats my favorite lol but even with the little bit of play time i had with halo i still remember all the guns, skulls, weapons, characters, vehicles, Easter eggs, glitches etc. Wow....goes to show that you dont have to be a hardcore fan to keep up with good times and nostalgia.
The OG halo community (The Bungie games) will always be one of the best gaming communities of all time. Gaming back then was light years more fun than today. I may not be a hardcore halo fan but if someone says "whats so great about bungie and the older halo games?"....have a seat...cause i got some stories you wouldnt BELIEVE! Lmao
ggs boys
14:50 you were just unlocking the same cadet coating again as part of the Winter Update where they made the MK V [B] core free to get in the Winter Update BP. They then later just gave everyone all of the cores... They added the cadet coatings to them all too though, so that's nice
I missed using the airstrike gun in halo reach. It's a gun that summons in an aorstrike it was used in the second level. it was in forge mode for a while and then got removed in forge mode sadly
The older I grow, the more I realize halo 3 was some of the best gaming in history.
Overrated game. Its multiplayer was unbalanced as hell and its story was trash tier

One thing is missing from the list, the ability to see your own legs. It seems to me like they removed this thing so that people without legs would not be upset
You forgot FUN. 343 dropped that in favor of copying modern FPS trends and making a focus group game, not a Halo.
Well I would agree with halo 4.. but I still had fun with each halo game from 343. Now if you were talking about a original art style I would agree.
@@Ghostman223 if your idea of fun is feeling like apex, titanfall and cod, then sure. But it's not HALO fun. Facts.
9:41 Damn that recreation of MW2's "Highrise" is fantastic
One thing I miss is the vast amount of vehicles and weapons that have come and gone over the years. Even if vehicles like the Falcon or Spectre don't make it into the campaigns again, it would be nice to recreate older maps with these vehicles as options in Forge mode.
In Halo Reach, the pelican easter egg also worked with a Banshee, it woukd turn into a Phantom.
The best part of waking up is Rocket Sloth on your dash at 75mph!
Multi team was definitely my favorite playlist on both Halo 3 and Reach. I remember this one time on Reach back in 2012 me and my cousins played it all freaking day without losing a single match! Really wish for that mode to come back😢
A simple fix to the Flood game type would be to have the Spartans change but still be able to use the base weapons... Kind of like the Flood does in the campaigns.
Hey btw in halo 3 the covenant where you fight the two scarabs use the skull acrophobia to fly up to the back of the pelican that’s flying trying to destroy the banshees etc you should be able to board it
I just thought of the “Handicap” option in OG Halo 2. I believe you could only do it on local.
double elite assignation is so clean 18:39
I can't believe during Reach we didn't have, or I didn't know about the Jumper Jumper option, where you can simply press jump while midair to jetpack
Some of the missing Halo features are features that have been in general removed from FPS Multiplayer matckmaking altogether for unknown reasons. Map Vetoing was something that Call of Duty also used to do before they changed it to simply having Map Voting with two/three options of what map to choose for the next match (which Halo Reach and 4 did have too), only for Map Voting to also be axed entirely in both Halo and Call of Duty in favor of just having the map decided for you and having no way to veto it or change it for another map.
Player lobbies remaining the same with no need to disband them after each multiplayer match was also a thing in Call of Duty, until it stopped being a thing and now (just like with Halo MCC, 5 and Infinite) Player Lobbies disband entirely every time you search for a new match.
I always thought that they should’ve just changed how the plasma rifle functioned rather them replace it with a new gun completely. It’s such an iconic weapon and I wouldn’t mind if they tweaked it to fit the current Halo’s sandbox
18:37 that was so smooth lmao
The brute plasma rifle is most definitely in H5 and I'm pretty sure the plasma rifle has some variations too. I know bc it has my favorite sprinting animation's associated with it
A few things I’d like to come back are Spartan-IIIs (my favourite Spartan program), new spin-offs, duel wielding, assassinations (even if it’s just PvE), some old vehicles, and perhaps some Halo Wars vehicles in the fps games too
Because in one section you said you don’t see a scarab since halo 3 but you use a banished scarab in halo wars 2 and the flood was also re introduce in the DLC for halo wars 2
Holy moly i completely forgot about the pysch options in reach. That needs to come back!
I just notice the mangoust horn sound exactly like the bus in Tranzit in BO2 xD
Halo 5 did add in the brute plasma rifle with the firefight update.
One things that I think was just in halo 1 and no others was that being shot by plasma would actually slow you down. So tanks would actually be really screwed against a strafing ghost.
I REALLY miss the Sentinel Enforcer. The games have really lacked for me without different sentinel classes aside from the standard drones.
Halo 4 might have had a scarab in one of the Spartan Ops. I can't remember it's been awhile but I feel like it did
Halo 5 did have the plasma rifle, just not at launch and it was only in warzone and Fiesta.
I miss having a free color palette, having my melee register was nice too
"MORE customization"
5.59$ for the color light cyan...
I never knew that the random elites in Halo 3 actually were named Characters in the expanded universe let alone prestigious Officers in some of the much more secretive parts of SoS
Plasma pistol is basically plasma rifle from CE, I still wish its model was in the game, as a super variant of the plasma pistol.
Little faster and Full alto instead of the charge feature. Apearing in rare instances for the pistol slot in MP.
As a Business analyst, every thing luck says is about: MAKING A BETTER PRODUCT
damn that man did every site every step to tighten the conversion funnel down and make more profit with what they already have.
Great job, shows you guys really do play alot and understand the game even in terms of functionality as a business for users
19:00 gave Star wars battle front 2 space battle vibes👌🏼
You know what I want? Storm The Castle, I know it was just CTF on a custom map, but it was still so fun to play on Reach, having to cross the No Man's Land that was the bridge, and then get inside the enemy castle, grab their flag, and get back out and across the bridge without dying.
The goose sounds like the bo2 tranzit bus lmaoooooo
Thin in we also lost those holdable missile launchers like the ones in in ODST and Halo 3
7:00 Actually they added the Brute plasma rifle to Halo 5 Guardians. Halo 3 ODST has the normal and brute version as well. And they added the brute plasma rifle to the Halo 3 multiplayer too.
Okay, to add some more pointers: Spirits, Falcons, The ability to carry more than 2 grenades, [4 grenades for CE & 2, 3 grenades for ODST] Firebombs from Halo 3, and that's all I can think of rn
There was the stealth scorpion from the CE beta. As well as the giant mirror in what i think was the control room. Those didn't make it into the final release.
the physics that halo 3 had were something else. the fact that you could do some wonky glitch or play around with the physics and end up with a whole new aspect to halo.
also miss the pregame and post game lobbies. these are probably the most important thing mentioned here. halo just hasn't been the same without it.
I'd like Halo Infinite to have the option for a custom colour palette thing. Like say, 5 premium currency or whatever to get a blank template, and when you select it, you can pick colours from the existing palettes you own, so you can customise your colours more, and unlock more colours as you get more palettes. The system seems almost _built_ for that. Or hell, give it out for free and have premium be the way you get more blank ones. I just want the nice colours I have in a different order :T
