I know of one screw that ain't going back in..... wtf was Asus doing w/ that last cdrom screw..... that was pure muff cabage. Thank you for the video GiPiPSB!

bought one at a garage sale for $20 few weeks back. The BIOS was password protected so couldn't set boot priority. You have to take out the motherboard to get to the battery - they actually put the battery on the bottom if the board! . I wouldn't wish one of these computers on my worst enemys.

For reset BIOS?
I am having an issue removing the DVD drive. I see the easily removable screw on one side. There seems to be another screw hole under the tray on the other side. Looks impossible to get to. I am stuck at that point.
the dvd player can remain in the rear cover of the computer, you only need to remove the fixing screws as seen in the video at minute 2:10 onwards
@@gipipsb You have to just pry that smaller phillips in there to get to it- I'm leaving it out on the reinstall, client will never know and as many latches as Asus used it's not coming apart.
I had this type of computer for 9 years and recently the computers only power button is jammed inside, any solution or tips?
I think the only solution is to disassemble the computer

@@gipipsb I have download and install driver again. But speaker is still not working. After I open the cover, I found top and bottom side speaker. The connection and wiring are normal. In fact, earphone is working. I think that the audio driver is normal. Would you any suggestion or speaker demage?
And I found that the front panel volume control does not work.

if you're talking about my computer in the video, I sold it as spare parts, it was beyond repair except by changing the motherboard

I agree after getting this apart which was a migraine it has two screws where the cd rom drive is that’s unnoticed it’s not worth anybodys time fooling with this all in one
