      I agree with you. Chris did a fantastic job reading the police report. So much in this report I had never heard. I did not know that The Ramseys story was when they got home John Ramsey read to the kids. And the fact that John Ramsey wasn't glued to the phone from 8 am to 10 am waiting for the kidnappers call.

  • @sunshine-z2f
    @sunshine-z2f 21 день тому +23

    There is no way around the ransom note being authored INSIDE the house. A true kidnapper would want in and out of the house, not sit and write practice notes knowing he/she could be discovered at any moment. It is disturbing law enforcement does not recognize the facts. No one will ever truly know what happened in that house now except 2 people, and they aren't talking about the facts.

  • @lolajoker

    That really isn’t a garrote. It is really a slip knot or noose (like a dog choke collar) with a makeshift handle made out of the paintbrush handle. The cord on the wrists were tied loose which looks more like staging.

      Yeah, I think it's possible that the ligature was tightened 4 times because the person using it was trying to end JB's life and it took 4 times for them to do it. I haven't really heard anything to indicate that she was awake and resisting the attack. There are marks on her neck that some say are fingernail marks but was any of JonBenet's skin actually found under her fingernails?

      @lolajoker Anything used to strangle a person with a rope, cord, string is called a garrote, its called a garroting, its in the dictionary. We all know that it was a paintbrush and cord that was used and possibly the person wasn't thinking garrote when it was made. Was it made for the purpose it was used for, we don't know. BR had a toy plane which needed something similar to the paintbrush and cord ensemble to fly it. I never thought of the dog choke collar idea though. There are so many directions you could go in this case

    Unfortunately, you are taking everything that they say is gospel. you're saying they only had 10 minutes to do all this stuff from the time She got up till the time they made the call. But the majority of people believe Patsy never went to bed because she was wearing the same clothing, still had her makeup on still had her hair done. So they staged the scene long before they finally said.Okay let's call the cops. Also I believe John was just shaking his head and one of the. Reasons He was so antsy because he couldn't believe the police had not found her. So finally he had to find her, or she never would have been found in my opinion

    • @user-wj4yo8vp3o
      @user-wj4yo8vp3o 21 день тому +6

      Yes. Who would even invite friends over to a ceime scene to ruin evidence, to loose the chance to find fingerprints, footprints in the house? None of the friends thought they will misplace or destroy evidence? Apperently officers weren’t worried about that either. Strange.

    • @TheInterviewRoom
      @TheInterviewRoom  21 день тому +3

      @ It is a possibility. I do understand the emotional support part, but you cannot risk the police loosing important evidence due to friends making breakfast in the kitchen. The friends for sure did not mean to contaminate the scene, it is just surprising not one person thought of that.

    • @countygirl35

      Friends could have inadvertently carried things out of the house - like when Burke was sent off with a friend. I would assume that they packed him an overnight bag and sent along some of his favorite toys. A roll of black duct tape could have been dropped under the seat in a friend's car. With all of those people coming in and out of the house it stands to reason that evidence could have been coming in and out, too. I would be interested to know what the phone records were and whether 911 was the first call made that morning.

    After listening now, my suspicions fall on the housekeeper and possibly her husband. She has access to the house, she knows which room was Jon Benet's. She may have given Jon benet the pineapple. She may have been writing the letter for a long time, and heard john and patsy talking about his bonus he was going to get. What do you know about her husband, could it have been his dna on Jon benet?

      The housekeeper's husband, MP, died on Feb 17th, 2018. As far as I know, his DNA and handwriting samples was never collected, only his fingerprints. His wife provided everything, however. He knew the layout of the house, and he knew the Ramseys. He helped carry Christmas decorations up from the basement. Also, he knew about the broken basement window because the Ramseys asked him to fix it, but he never did. His wife who was the housekeeper could have easily told him about John's $118,000 bonus. He could have even borrowed his wife's key instead of entering the basement window. Also, his wife admitted to taking home pens and pads of paper from the Ramsey home. MP could have either written that long note in his own home or in the Ramsey home while they were away at the Christmas party. He could have been jealous of the Ramsey's wealth and success and determined to destroy their lives. I have a vivid image in my mind of his wife telling him"Oh it must be nice to get a $118,000 work bonus" while rolling her eyes in jealousy while she's forced to wear hand me down shoes from Patsy and beg Patsy for a loan and her husband has to do handyman odd jobs for the Ramseys just to make ends meet. THINK ABOUT IT!!!

      The officer said that they were looking specifically for entry/exit points that an intruder could enter and later exit carrying a small child and since the wine room was a windowless interior room and the door was stuck and not opening the investigator didn't force it. Turns out that there was a latch towards the top of the door that the investigator didn't see which is why John was later able to go downstairs, unlatch the door and find JonBenet.

She had been at her cousins house and the cousin had received them as a gift and JonBen`t had loved them and wanted them so the cousin gave them to her. It was stated that they were not what she was wearing when carried up asleep upon arriving home and put to bed. I also found this unusual as they reported she was asleep and carried up and put to bed and later John Ramsey reports he read to both children before ticking them into bed ???

    The latch on the top of the wine cellar door was not obvious how to unlatch. It was a homemade piece of wood that you turn to let the door open. That’s probably why he didn’t try to open it. Fleet White did open it but couldn’t see anything because it was too dark and he couldn’t find the light yet, when John found her, he saw her before turning on the light as witnessed by Fleet White.

      That housekeeper also testified to the grand jury as to why she thought the Ramsay's did it. I always wondered about her. She would have written that Mr and Mrs page before writing the ransom document. She has access to paperwork where she would know financials. She would know the house inside out and Jon Benet would have been quiet and went with her out of her room. Maybe even stopped in the kitchen with her to calm her and give her pineapple. That house keeper would know about the broken window. I feel she had someone to with her and it turned bad in some way. I could see the housekeeper being jealous of the little girl and the mother and easily getting away with it especially working with cops and testifying. IMO the housekeeper has motive, access and could hate on this family easily and convince someone to carry out a kidnapping. She would know what stairs the mother went down in the morning...to me, that house keeper is the key to this case. She may have had a family member out of jail or a desperate criminal friend. Done.

    As a nurse and manager of a facility that , in part , answers to the state - thorough and accurate documentation is of upmost importance. I see, in the first paragraph a statement that needed a follow up qualifying explanation as to how the writer deduced this: " There was no apparent forced entry into the residence." This needs an immediate next sentence as to how she came about this information ie: due to a personal inspection of each and every means of entry or by some other means such as per ....'s statement [ see _______'s name, badge number or some other identifier ]. I don't want to read further into this report bc it will be too draining. Ty for the work that you do and the education, for those of us wanting to know, that you and Dr Brucato bring to the table.

    • @margaretlee-reed814
      @margaretlee-reed814 21 день тому +1

      Ditto! 🎉
      Not to forget "no forced entry" is NOT indicative of "no intruder". (Not necessarily ... and LE /Detectives would know this even if no one else inside thought of.)
      Detectives needed to know ow how EVERY door locked. From outside? Inside? Key only - which side(s) - both sides or only one side permanent if key can be used from both sides? AKA - turning the handle only from inside may unlock "some doors" - inner to outer; but not vice versa. (Were the doors or were the doors not locked?) There's been statements... "one door" in back of home found unlocked ... eventually. (Maybe footsteps? Or, easily covered over by snow.)
      In addition another detective has commented it is rare that entry and exit points are the same. Oh?! 😮
      Okay, now Detective CMcD said a basement/garage door was "locked" from the inside in an unusual way ... so officer ignored checking into further. CM is correct. That door may have been locked 'after the fact' or perhaps handle or lock touched ... had door been unlocked (earlier) and a point of entry BUT, NOT the exit (and then locked ... to confuse a crime scene OR to simply stop others from using from outside to inside ... possible even to hide the body longer).
      Or, door locked the entire time. But, that would have been a 'presumption' only by random officer that morning.
      Would the/an intruder have "tried" THAT door - to exit only. So, close to JBR's body and leads to garage. Maybe. Touched handle or lock? (Finger prints?) But, perhaps changed their mind ... because no way to RE-LOCK if used for exit? Decides to use another door. Will never know. Would/Could the Ramsey's know right away and tell LE. And, JBR's body is ... near that door. Thus, an intruder may use a different door to leave/exit ... REGARDLESS if that garage door was or was not point of entry. (Relocks instead? Leaves locked? Maybe. Possible.)
      And, then ... supposedly a different door was discovered "unlocked". Entry? Exit? Never used? Used?
      How does "THIS" specific door lock? Inside only? Outside only? Both? Multiple ways? Dead bolt? Push button inside (or inside handle twist/push in)? Both? Were both or only method used? Known or an unknown?
      *Were any house keys missing from the home?*
      There's been a deceased child/person discovered.

      There seems to be an obvious communication break down between Detectives and parent(s) when being asked about ... "What was JBR (last?) wearing"?
      When asking John ... he could have interpreted that as last "normal" clothing before put to bed? Were police asking John about potential stalkers watching JBR or understandably planning to interview people at the Christmas party? John may have easily thought "clothing" meant her last outfit worn ... before changing for bed. Or, John may have easily been stressed and confused what JBR wore the last 2 nights to bed. What nightgown did JBR where CHRUSTMAS morning? (Tired that night after a Christmas party then alleged late bedtime story ... peehaps John didn't pay attention or remember or answered both ways or wasn't sure ... foggy but, sure one or the other ... if not describing what was (last) worn to a Christmas party and then to bed.)
      Difficult to hear "commas" et al when asking & writing. In fact one can't.
      Context of answer(s) could be wrong in the police report. (But, content could be the same.)
      Same for Patsy. "What was JBR (last) wearing"? Okay, when? Was that clarified for Patsy? Context please. And, if her child was "kidnapped" ... she wouldn't know-know ... the last-last clothing JBR was DEFINATELY wearing. Patsy didn't witness the kidnapping ... she hasn't inventoried JBR's clothing since that 911 call. She doesn't know. She can guess the context of the question - correctly or incorrectly. AKA ... was the officer talking about the Christmas party or what JBR wore to bed?

The time stamp says this took place less than an hour from the initial arrival of the officer. It is pretty telling, though, that it took *more than two hours* for the detectives called in on the case (Arndt and Patterson) to arrive on scene-and still at that point JonBenét’s lifeless body had not yet been discovered. Detective Arndt has gotten a lot of criticism for her handling of the case, but it appears that the responding officer mishandled it right off the bat.

    Hi Chris, no disrespect here but the note is crucial. It worked until 1pm. Everything that the perp used was from the house. Poor little Jonbonet was SA'd with a broken paint brush not a male organ. The underwear she was wearing were originally a gift Patsy had bought for her niece, so who knows who handled them before. If she hadn't such a severe almost fatal blow to the head I'd be more inclined to believe you, but if Jonbonet was a victim of previous SA, and a horrific accident happened that night, they couldnt call an ambulance for obvious reasons, I truly feel it was staged to look like an sa crime, if they thought she was a goner with the head trauma... Dont forget she had eaten pineapple shortly before her demise Chris, the case stinks😢 Ringing all the friends and cops after being threatened that your little would be taken out if you did alarms me too. I'd also like to point out to you that both JonBonet and burke were bedwetters, me and my late brother were sa'd at a very young age by a family friend and we both had that issue with bedwetting too, it's difficult to talk about, but from my own personal experiences, it's either a family member or someone very close to the family. Burke had very alarming behaviours too, smearing feces on Jonbenets toys, that's not normal. A scream was heard too Chris, by a neighbour, I think she got a belt of a bat or something like it and she couldn't be woken, assuming she was mortally wounded it was staged to look like a pedo attack first, and then as an afterthought in the moment ,a kidnapping so the search would be outside the home. Somebody clearly had a very vivid imagination in regards to the actual crime and the note, and it worked. Love your thoughts though. I truly want you to convince me otherwise.
