So I followed Malala’s advice about learning about islam.
I took my time to really study and understand Islam and this is the result.
Given that Islam has Mohammed as a prophet and perfect pattern of conduct (Quran 33:57, 49:14, 4:13-14, 4:65) after he (in the name of Al-Lah) sanctioned things such as:
• death penalty for those who leave Islam (Quran 9:74, Sahih al Bukhari vol. 9 n. 6922, Sunan Abu dawud vol.5, 4351-4353)
• the suppression of those called MUNAFIQUN (Quran 9:73)
• the killing of those who criticise Islam or the “prophet” (Sunan Abu Dawud 4361, Ibn Ishaq par. 819)
• violence on women (Quran 4:34)
• the enslavement of the women captives (Quran 4:24)
• adulterers being stoned to death (sahih muslim vol.4, n. 4420, 4432)
• the subjugation of the kafirs for being kafirs (Quran 9:29)
• the killing of homosexuals (Quran 7:81, Sahih al Bukhari vol.8, 6834, Sunan Ibn Majah vol.3, 2561, Sunan Abu Dawud vol.5, 4462,4463)
• the categorisation of Kafir as filthy and the worst of creatures (Quran 98:6) and indeed the sacred right to lie to them (Quran 3:28, 16:106)…
…then it’s perfectly logical to acknowledge and then claim that Islam has a problem with humanity, mankind and its existence.
Not the other way around.
And… it seems to me Malala didn’t study Islam very careful herself. Not a single piece of evidence was given while she was making the claims she made.
Examplary, you for what i've heard from this young woman, i can only say your an example for me.

this girl changed my view on Muslims after her I am Malala book i read, as well as the documentary of Benazir Bhutto who is like an older version of this girl. I used to think the same way most Americans think today about what Islam is. Thank you for opening my eyes.

People keep saying that she is supporting terrorism and islam is violent. If you read her book and watched the movie you would see that many Muslims were victims of the Taliban. The Taliban are responsible for these terrible things and used religion as an excuse. Most Muslims are not like that.

Islam is not perfect. No religion is perfect. Islam is incompatible for many people who are just forced to “pretend” being a Muslim but they can’t follow Islamic values because they are too restrictive. Example: smoking, drinking, dancing girls, bars, wedding ceremonies copied from Hindu ancestors, etc. These customs are common in Pakistani culture, but unislamic in values, but people would not leave these habits or traditions, but still label them as Muslims. Islam also ridicule gays and lesbians and other religious minorities, and atheists. Therefore, it is really difficult to live in a Islamic (pseudo) school society without challenging Islam. Questioning religion doesn’t mean bashing! You can’t just blindly believe in some Mohammad guy. You have every right to question and find a rationale explanation of the so called God’s words. Islam should be strong enough to take constructive criticism. It’s not bashing!

Islam's unity is the unity & equality between men and women, unity amongst people, who would have otherwise remained divided into classes and castes and races. Islam needs the Unity that makes billions of heart beat at the same time, or else Islam doesn't work to its fullest potential. It's such a shame that we failed our God and we failed our Prophet.
