    I praise her view of redirecting our funding in Pakistan and Afghanistan towards education. I believe that it will bring great changes to these countries. More so than drone attacks and other act of war.
    However, if we refocus all of our fundings on education, then what will we have to ensure that these children will receive their education and to help combat the extremists? Without enforcement, the terrorists can simply storm into the school, take all the book that we send over there, and execute the teachers. Then, what? We just keep sending more books so they can be taken away again? More teachers so more can be executed?
    In my opinion, more funding needs to go towards education, but at the same time we also need people to enforce the safety of these children when they go to learn.
    This is just an opinion.

      It's very true what you say. What you said is a balance of the two ideas in the U.S. Which is good. Why is it that people can't cooperate and work together instead of forcing their own ideal solution for a serious problem?

    • @tommytran5570
      @tommytran5570 9 років тому +2

      it is just naturally hard for people with different opinions to work together. It has always been an issue for humans when it comes to cooperating together. And unless we can somehow reinvent the human nature to be more cooperative, we will always have conflict where one group disagree with another.

    What she does not understand, is that people who commit acts of terror are insane, she wants to educate them, you can't educate a madman. Sometimes a few rockets are the only way to "reeducate" a terrorist.

    • @alexriggs2307
      @alexriggs2307 9 років тому +13

      ***** She is referring to collateral damage that is caused by drone attacks promoting hatred toward the US. The children affected by collateral damage are likely to grow up hating the US and more likely to become a terrorist in the process. So basically, drone attacks 'plant' future terrorists. If the children are educated at a young age, then terrorism in subsequent generations will eventually taper off.
