Nothing is certain except death, taxes, and alichu making a good video. Also like that death watches anime lol, and of course it's Death Note. Maybe I'm just weird but I've always enjoyed seeing how other people/cultures personify death, so this is right p my ally. Ngl death is a lil cutie, she reminds me of Sucy from Little Witch Academia.

Awesome work on this character - and not only the art, voice and sound effects, but also the backstory you've wrote for her. Speaking of which, I have a theory that the annoying voice in her head is the "magician" that gave her the book. He's the demon. And he used her as a means for his consciousness to live forever - or at least for as long as *she* does. Don't know if you write lore for your characters anymore, but if you do, don't hesitate to share these! Stuff like this really bring out our inner emo selves, and I'm all for it.

Thank you so much! I thought my OC's design was pretty fitting for a grim reaper haha! 😄 I still remember watching Death Note back in the day on Adult Swim. I read the manga much later and it became an instant favorite!

(also, I think I know what you did with her left eye LOL) I think the personification of _death itself_ is a very interesting concept, that I do like to see people experimenting with in storytelling. I think that turning a natural _force_ and _fact_ of existence into an entity with its own thoughts and feelings can lead to interesting results! I especially think it's fun to see people's interpretation of Death's _opinions_ on the world it's doing its job in - how it views different people, whether or not it mourns for those who died unexpectedly, or if it actively tries to seek out individuals it thinks deserve punishment. I think if you start to list out all the stories (books, movies, etc.) where Death is _sentient,_ you'd actually be shocked at how much _variety_ there is despite the "grim reaper" trope being ingrained into society. Also, you have a DA page? I didn't know! You might want to link that in your UA-cam channel bio, even if you decide not to include links in your descriptions or anything.
I totally agree! Death is such a broad concept the ideas are endless! 😄 I had a lot of different ideas when I thought about a grim reaper, but I ultimately with this one. Perhaps in the future I can play around with this idea again, I had a lot of fun with it! I do have a DA page! Admittedly, I’m not very active on there much other than to use as an art dump haha. Hah. Appropriate that I find you as you bust out lady black herself. I vibe, very aesthetic, a very calm and spooky surrealism. Ash is cool. Friendly but hollow. Cold blooded but wearm hearted... Assuming she has one, that gem lookin like it takes up space. Sums me up as well, I might I belong here more than I thought. But whatever. I like how you prioritize weird ASMR noises as much as character, book time is best time, spooky crow gets you +10 points, and I'll try to take the advice at the end but no promise. Now put my name in her book and cross it out, I'm ready to go.

That really cool, the grim reaper is supposed to be one entity, that has been here since the begging of time. but you decided for it to be multiple of them who actually work for a higher being. i dont know what a Kuudere is but it sounds NEET. You drew her differently form everyone else you have ever done, kinda looks like paper. Love the different eye color, really like the jem in the middle of her chest. What is that for?
