Hitman Blood Money - 11 fast ways to beat "A New Life" (Silent Assassin)

I had a few ideas for this mission and that quickly turned into a showcase of some of the many things you can do in this game. All runs are done on Pro difficulty and they achieve the Silent Assassin rating.
Definitely my favorite mission in the entire series, really shows that missions don't have to be big to be incredibly replayable. - Ігри

@@Detonimo getting shot at for tresspassing blows your cover but doesn't give witnesses, when you're in your suit you can't get a cover blown, so getting shot for tresspassing in the suit is fine. If you get seen committing a crime or holding an illegal item that gives you witnesses and ruins SA in any disguise, you can get rid of those witnesses via accident and retain SA. If you kill targets with fiber wire you still get away with SA as long as you don't get seen doing it and the body isn't found (and you don't fiber wire non targets, you can only kill those with accidents)

@@Detonimo oh another thing, stealing items is not a crime that gives witnesses, even tho you get shot, pretty sure it gives cover blown, but once again that doesn't matter if you're in the suit

I know I'm late for this comment but, through the many times I've done the car accident route I noticed that sometimes the lady will notice you going into the van to call the phone and for some reasons she'll follow you to tell you to get lost as if you were on her property. It happens sometimes but it's still funny.
I find that when you knock them all out with the dart gun, and drag them all into the pool room, and then toss the coin at the ceiling to kill them all at once, you get the rating "Insurance Agent".

the coin in this game is really bad, honestly this game is great but a lot of mechanics that should be in the game like choking someone out, knocking someone out and stuff like that aren’t in it

@@Detonimo you cant in blood money, you need to either syringe them or knock them out as a human shield with your pistol
@@Detonimo you can’t just choke them to unconsciousness like in Absolution and the newer ones, it’s something that makes Blood Money so much more difficult on harder difficulties

I've been playing Hitman for years and never knew you could still achieve Silent Assassin when your cover is blown
When you are in the suit your cover can't be blown.
6:20 I wonder if the developers intentionally placed that window there, so you can make this shot. the sightlines and possible entrances and exits just seem to flow so well on A New Life, that you'd think that they all have to be intentional.

Story of the Week:
Local witness being protected by the FBI was murdered in his own home. The Agents said the killer ran "like a bat out of hell" into the house, to which they proceed to shoot him several times in the back as he ran away. Vinnie's body was later found and the agents are perplexed and confused as to who the killer might be.
In other news this week, Local San Francisco dweller was found dead from suffocation in his apartment. The man believed that breathing his own farts would be one major step towards immortality. The Coroner has ruled the cause of his death to be "Inconclusive"

Impressive and genuine speed runs, funny too. This isn't a criticism of you either and rather of the game designers: it make so sense at all to award "silent asssassin" after running around, drawing attention to the point of combat, stealing the necklace in front of guards all contradict the point and meaning of a silent assassin. I was playing A Murder of Crows recently and accidentally poisoned the diamond dealer with the syringe, everything else perfect and get "Hitman" ... that-makes-no-sense! You don't smash up an antique shop, stand there and expect the owner to not suspect you having not seen the deed - it would give much more credence to a police investigation based on suspicion opposed to someone smashing the place up and then hiding.... They've got it skewed.

This is really weird, I thought that being seen in an private zone counted as a witness, guess I was wrong.
Merely trespassing in the suit is fine, because you can't get a cover blown unless in disguise. Being seen trespassing in a disguise will blow your rating.

People getting mad for trespassing does not count towards SA. Since he was wearing his suit it doesnt count towards covers blown or any witnesses.

Try it for yourself. Getting caught trespassing in a suit doesn't count and if you pass out of line of sight of the guards before they turn around, they won't follow you which is why he was able to grab that knife without getting shot at.

It's a bug to do with the default suit, even if enemies start shooting you for trespassing it won't count as your cover being blown. It only works with the suit, if you try with any disguise your cover will get blown and you'll get witnesses.
@@numbersstationsarchive194 the difficulty is that most players would die with this method. Not everybody can finish a level in 1 min and I think every second more can ruin your sa rating

Ironically, I'm pretty sure that playing this game with the mindset of "how it is supposed to be" was the reason I ended up restarting each level a billion times, without realizing that this game is actually screaming: "Do it how you think it's best".
Why would a guy with thosands of hours in the game do that?
He knows exactly what to do, its impossible to be faster and at the same time Hit silent assassin ratings so often. The game is meant to be played like you want to ^^
