A friend gave me some Peruvian Highland Wool in black cherry heather and I am going to try making a crochet beanie using the stitch.

Happy Easter. This stitch reminds me of drunken granny stitch & C2C. Not my favorite. But many of your others are!
I like the drunken granny stitch, it's fast...if you wanna make a scarf, or afghan. I really do like it a lot. But everyone has their favorite stitch.

Very pretty stitch. With a lighter weight yarn, it would make a nice shawl.
How would you suggest in changing colors ? My granddaughter's favorite colors are black, gray, and light pink ? She's graduating high school and will be leaving town to go to college the end of July.
Do you know how to crochet this stitch in a triangle/shawl shape? With increases or decreases?
