I do that too! I actually made a really small MOC Lego crawler crane, and am currently making a load chart for it on Excel. An example is: 8 in. main boom at 45 degrees, 5 in. luffing jib at 20 degrees, 80 g of counterweight, lifting load over side, can lift ___ grams.
The weight of this series is great! Other then the shipping costs, lol... I will need to contract a real crane company to deliver it to my doorsteps... I do have a silly request/idea... (I kindly mention)... How's come you don't mention the approx cost of the various models in your videos. I am not saying to give an exact M.S.R.P., But maybe a range cost, from low to high, and maybe even some abstract or estimated costs, or worth values based on supply and demand and rarity. You do often times mention a manufactured quantity, or which I assume is the paint scheme quantity... i.e., This video, 100 will be released, or this paint scheme of the Brazilian owned crane company... Yes, I suppose, if folks have to ask the cost of an item, that likely means, they can't afford it. Lol. Like wise I suppose, it would direct your fan base to a website for further information. I don't know, just think it would be a nice big of info, to hear, that "which ever model" (may cost approx. $1500.00 to $1800.00, pending options, what part of the world one lives)... I'm surprised adequate support isn't supplied for transport and Lego blocks have to be used.

For mobile cranes:
3 and 4 axle: 150 to 250 USD
5 and 6 axle: 250-400 USD
7-9 axle: 500 USD +
Rc conversion models: 2000 USD +
Crawler cranes: 300-900 USD
Tower cranes (1:87): 200- 300 USD
Tower cranes (1:50): 600 USD + (no longer produced)

All I really know about prices is this : Any diecast equipment model = $WAY TOO MUCH. That's why I don't have any!

The real cranes are very complex, so the 1:50 models are complex. Yes, RC would be very expensive, and difficult to make.
