Unfortunately the video didn't actually test the extra storage. I bought one of these and a kingston 2.5 SSD to try and get some more space. While the SSD fits just fine, the PC doesn't pick it up at all. Since it connects via a USB c I thought it might treat it like it does an external hard drive, but so far nothing.
Checked the SSD on another machine and it works fine, so the problem is almost definitely on one of the connection on the mini pc
I have connected a sandisk external ssd directly to the usbc with no issue...
Can you connect the storage with a different port?

Idk the cause but I Googled it & lots of black screen vids came up for windows pc’s. So ig it might be common among them. I had a warranty on mine so I just got it replaced. But Amazon does accept returns within a month of purchase.
Great review. Looking for a mini pc to stream 4k tv shows and movies on my 4k tv.....instead of buying a 4k monitor for my gaming pc.

You can actually open this device up and slap another stick in there. There are other videos on UA-cam to show a tear down, where you can even change the size if the internal SSD 256 G B drive. I believe it is an M.2 SSD as well. I have one of these I bought for my wife to use to pay bills, and the stuff she does. In fact, I have the same LG monitor that is shown in this video. The system is fast, quiet, and I put in a 2TB SSD I got on sale as well. Wife loves it, she can do everything she does in 4K and it is running excellent.
What's the card size of the M.2 SATA SSD? Is it 2280 or... ?
A tear down video would be a good follow-up to this post.

There are a few ibn UA-cam with a full tear down. That is why I bought one, because you can open it up, and get in there to add more RAM and change the M.2 and yes I believe it is a 2800.

Gets memory and storage mixed up. Ssd and nvme mixed up. On and off button - its a power button. Poor video for people that are less computer savvy for someone stating "we've all used computers for a while." Can play games but not no gpu demanding ones. 2 for effort.

Will the M.2 slot fit a 2280-B-M-S3 type SSD? If so, can I run the OS off a SATA SSD in the SATA slot, and use a Coral TPU (M.2 SSD) in the M.2 slot? I'm interested in running Home Assistant & Frigate off of this.

Do you think I can do some simple edits for videos? Like cutting and putting music in the background etc.? Want to edit some videos for social media purposes and stuff
I have not tried that with this computer. I am sure if you were just cutting and adding music it would be ok but if you start trying to color correct and add effects then I would not do it.

I walked out of the ATT store because the sales guy kept saying what size memory do you want in your phone. Umm the same as everyone gets. Do you mean storage? He said no memory. I walked out. These are not the same and they do two entirely different things.
I just purchased one and haven’t been able to use it because it’s not letting me signing in, it comes with a warning sticker on the pc about this and says to turn off Wi-Fi and LAN but I’ve tried everything and nothing works. Any suggestions?

I added the extra 2.5 sata but I can't see it in file explorer, or save anything to it. Can some one please give me the simple laymans answer to this issue? Thanks
You need to initialize the drive. Use Windows DiskManager to set it up. Also it cannot be larger than 2 TB.

So I have Windows 10 loaded on a Samsung SSD that I use for travel. Will this mini PC allow me to boot off of my SSD if I change the BIOS boot sequence?
I don’t know for sure but it is just like a regular pc so I don’t think you will have any issues.

What does it need to be VR ready?
@@ReviewsandHowTos01To's Normally VR ready means the graphics card is the device that can do VR. I don't think the purpose of this is for VR. This mini PC (although) it can do light gaming is not a graphics powerhouse. I would not get this thinking I could game on it especially since the graphics is Intel UHD graphics. You are not going to Play Top Tier 3D games.

Is it possible to install old systems like Windows XP or older? I was curious because I've seen some videos of different Mini PC's and I haven't seen anyone testing on very old systems. Only on Windows 10 and 11.
I am no expert but it is built just like a regular PC so I am sure it is possible.

Possibly if you use proxies but I wouldn't recommend it.

On what Voltage can it work? Is the adaptor supports the 200V?
Mine is from Amazon .US so it has a 110v plug but I am sure if they ship it to another country it will have the correct adapter.
