- I asked Japanese people questions relating to Singapore. Do the Japanese know where Singapore is? What will they think if Japan imposed strict safety measures to those who are not vaccinated, similar to Singapore?

Love from Osaka! Stay safe guys!
My family all miss Japan and visited many of the places in the videos just before covid. And Ghib is the best ambassador for Singapore and Japan. enjoy 😁👍
As a Singaporean, I’m always surprised and amused when Japanese people compliment Singapore as a country cleaner than theirs. Despite having more trash cans in public spaces in Singapore, it’s still common to see litter around where I stay and school in the northern side. Japan however does not have as many trash cans in public areas but is still cleaner in my perspective, I guess it could be mainly due to differences in culture and social norms such as the Japanese upbringing to hold onto their trash no matter how small it is in their pockets until they could find a trash can to discard it
Wow! Absolutely true. I was at Ueno Park and I saw an old lady at least 70+ and she was having a snack. After she finished, she neatly folded the wrapper and kept it in her bag! Absolutely no littering👍
@@mokhtaramin2011 Agreed. I always wished Singapore has a similar culture or societal norm but then again Singapore is a multi-racial, multi-religious and multi-cultural country and its population made of people from all walks of life, it may be difficult to get everyone to practice the same when everyone are influenced by the culture of their race, religion, country of origin or upbringing
@@martinlee7875 I think all Asian cultures and religions teach cleanliness. Its the people who lack culture and are not religious who may tend to lack civil and social consciousness.
@K Y that's my point exactly. Littering has nothing to do with religion. Anyway I do not think Asian countries believe in anything and everything.
@K Y I love how you just contradicted yourself. How low is your IQ? 🤭
Pls do more of the these videos Ghib I enjoy listening to people's opinions
More of this content. You just bring this content to another level! MORE MORE!
Loving the Japan series especially the episode with your family. Hope you both enjoy your time
Interesting to see those street interviews and hope to see more in the future. You did a great job 加油 👍Ojisan!
this is so good. Thanks for the content ghib!😊
oh wow i love seeing osaka again! luckily went for a trip before everything happened, i miss japan and the food and everything else so much! would love to travel there again, thank you for this! 👏🏼👏🏼
日本人も見てますよ〜〜☺️
The interview with MIL is so hilarious 😂😂😂😂 love your video❤
I love how you incorporate the lah leh lor and aiyo in your subtitles. 👍🏻
Thank you for satiating our curiosity!
Thank you for sharing your trips. Really miss Japan and hope to travel soon. Have a pleasant new week ahead. Stay safe and take care.
I am a westerner living in Singapore for last 3 years and followed your channel for some time. You have inspired me to finally visit Japan (always wanted to) and now I just booked my first trip there (as it was so overdue anyway) as you gave me confidence now - appreciate the coverage and insights you have given. You're reconnecting countries and people with your videos. Thank you!
💕
Hope you enjoy your trip😁
Isn’t the borders still closed for tourists?
I booked an award ticket using points, quite some time from now - but allows for free cancellation changes 😉
There’s no need to tell the whole world that ur gonna go to japan.
Great format and editing, love the interviews, it's hilarious how we think Japan is cleaner and they think Singapore is lol! Japan is on my travel list once it's open definitely.
Thank You for sharing what it looks like in Osaka! I miss Japan as a whole & I can’t wait to go back again!
Please do more vlogs! Planning to go to Japan
Thank you so much for the great video! Used to work in Japan many years ago… missing the 100 Yen shop (is there such a shop anymore?) and the Okonomiyaki in Japan is the food I like the most! 👍👍
a hundred yen shop is called Daiso,, ofcoz still around Roger,, even in Singapore alot but more expensive 2$ 14 cent now,,
great interview. 👍
thanks for the introduction, keep it up!
man, watching you bite into that tako-san (spelling?) brought a smile to my face. I'm so happy that you're happy!!
I was lucky to have visited Tokyo in Feb 2020 just before the pandemic and I hope to visit Japan again soon! I have fond memories of being there.
Would you consider yourself an envoy for Singapore or Japan? I think it’s both 🤓 it’s so surreal to witnessed a Japanese making a survey on the Japanese on what they think of Singapore from a Japanese living in Singapore 🤣🥰😘
Keep up your production….now that covid19 is kind of passé but, not yet! I’ve not got the time to catch your UA-cam 😚
“I everyday also same same lah” and then u inserted the video of her dancing with the vacuum 😂😂
As a Singaporean, I hope Japan opens up soon. I miss Japan so much.
@Flare Are you seriously saying Singapore is a very stressful country? Have you seen Japan’s work culture? LMAO.
@Flare Seems like you don’t know anything about Japan. Singapore is a multiracial country. Japan is a more racist place. And you have to work extra hours in Japan if not you’ll be fired. LMAO
@Flare The work culture in Japan is definitely more stressful than Singapore's.
@Flare if you working with a Japanese in sg then you know the high standards they placed in work even if they are in sg. Generally, I would avoid working in firms with japanese management in place.
Actually to each its own. Every countries has its own flaw..
i LOVE the singlish captions xD
i am from singapore and have been to japan soo many times i love the atmosphere and weather there and everyone is really nice 😊
It feels good to hear people from other countries talk good things about my country
I love your subtitle, so Singaporean
When MIL didn't hear your question hahahaha!!
Ahh, Japan is healing!! I want to try takosen next time!!
@9:58
I recognise that ManHill restaurant.... its situated at Pasir Panjang in Singapore, and u are right, their paper chicken really makes u drool....
I hope to visit Japan again! Was suppose to go on a date there however, due to borders we had to postpone it a year later. 日本にまた行きたいです、、、
Miss Japan so much!! And it’s way cleaner despite hardly having dustbins around!
Great video! Japanese people are so much more approachable and fun than Singaporeans when it comes to public interviews! I can feel the positive energy from the video interviews in Japan.
i disagree, Singaporeans are very approachable too😂😂especially if you go further from the city and actually interact with people in the neighbourhood areas like Bedok or Tampines, the community spirit in these areas are very strong and friendlier than if you just go to Sentosa, CBD or specific tourist spots lol
I’m a singaporean living in Japan, love your videos~ makes me miss home all the time. But the japan series are so nice too XD keep up the good work!!
As a fellow singaporean who really wants to move to japan, how did you do it?? 👀
@@klio9410 I got into this programme called the jet programme (idk if you’ve heard of it)!! There are 2 positions you can apply for, ALT (teaching English), and CIR (where you usually, but not always, get placed in a local government and do stuff like translation, interpretation and/or international relation activities, but you have to have at least JLPT N2 equivalent of Japanese for that. You don’t actually have to have the qualification, as long as you can prove it to them during the interview).
@@Everie667 ohh ok! I'll read up more about it!! thank you very much ╰(*°▽°*)╯
I went to Japan, my first time was in Tokyo and Mount. Fuji back in 2017.
Japan opening up in June and it's time to head back to Osaka!
Had takosen at the 100AM dondondonki before! Not sure if they still sell it now.
Great introduction Mr. JitPun
the subtitle is very singaporean, nice! haha
First ✊🏻
Love your content bro keep up with the good work cheers
Thanks 😊
Can’t wait to visit Japan. I’ve never been on my own holiday before so I booked a ticket to Japan. Unfortunately I booked it on April 2020. So I had to cancel it. Been having a bad case of wanderlust ever since. If/When they open to tourists, I’m definitely going. The sudden influx and huge groups of tourists will be a turn off though, even though I’ll be part of that problem. But after going through something like the pandemic, I just feel like I need to quickly see the world before anything like it happens again.
Although it is disheartening to hear a portion of the Japanese population are not looking forward to their borders opening since they like the reduced crowds. I would love to see and explore Japan but just feels uneasy if the hosts are lowkey not wanting to welcome you. But at the same time, I understand too, tourists are one of the most annoying groups of people
I was at douguyasuji some years back and totally missed uranamba hahhaha I also missed the takosen! guess Im going back next round
I love that Singlish subtitles! hahahaha
I'm a Singaporean I love Japan and the people there they are so nice :D
Just the starting and that "sorry ah" hehe. Very Singaporean~
I like how the English subtitles are actually Singlish subtitles.
2:05 That's unanimous.... everyone is just camping to visit 😅😍
im from Singapore, welcome to Singapore cheers
I had to cancel my trip to japan in early 2020 bcos of the outbreak. I want to return there badly.
This is so crazy! I'm holidaying in Osaka right now and standing at Ebisubashi just as I saw this video on my notifications!!!
What is Ebisubashi?
@@sgdate-foodstayplaysingapo3803 Name of the bridge which Ghib Ojisan is standing on while interviewing people
@@sgdate-foodstayplaysingapo3803 Shinsaibashi is more famous when i lived there,, they used to say it Shinsaibashi rather than ebisubashi,,
Damn... the level of coincidence lol
Small world!
im just amazed at the first 3 girls. their hair is extremely on point
福岡でも同じことをやってみてください🙆♂️✨ 福岡空港からシンガポール航空で直行便もありますし✈️
福岡、行きたすぎて震えてます…!😭
今なら福岡にガンダムの立像あります。
6:56 me like… “I still can’t believe I still can’t go back to Osaka ??”
6:00 mother in law always so cute. 😂😂😂
The schoolgirl in the middle is so cute :) Great video as always!!
The translation into Singlish is quite funny leh !😅😅
I love Google translate
I like how your subtitles are in Singlish 🤣🤣🤣
The elderly man sitting on the floor...has a sign that says.."I haven't eaten anything from the morning of 5th April"? (O_o) Is he ok Ghib?
This bridge is engrained into my memory from all the Ryu Ga Gotoku games.
Sotenbori😎
I think there is a typo at 2:11 she actually says 少なかったらいいです which basically means "if it's just a few that's fine"
Wow, Osaka looks so empty. I was there in 2016 and it was so crowded. It really feels like a dead town now. Even SG has more people running around.
the first 3 girls the one on the right fking cute sia
日本の方がもっと綺麗と思います!
シンガポールに住んでますけど、日本に行った時に、すごく綺麗でした!
I like the singlish subtitle hehehe
I think the top favorite destinations for Japanese will be like Hawaii, European countries and US. For business people, there will be more familiar with where singapore is located. You will be surprised many singaporeans don't know where Sabah is located, even though it is quite near to singapore. Haha.
Is not that near actually
you will be surprised these people also will be clueless where brunei is.
LOL typical SG mum so cute
Singaporeans know takosen because they watched ur prev video on it 😂 (that’s me). I have the image that Japanese don’t really travel overseas till they r older (unless it was a high school trip). Many of my Japanese frens whom I met in singapore during uni days told me it was their first time in singapore and some even had their passports for the first time.
Looool im a half japanese lving in SG!
Nice bro
外国人向けのUA-camチャンネルだったのか、、、。でも日本人もめちゃめちゃ見てますよー。
I wanna go to Japan!!!!
Same same lah! No change lah! Like repeating! Hahahahaahahahaha
Two different sentences with literally the same meaning. 😂
your singlish captions tho xD
Arigato for Tegra tour.
Yeay #TeamMalaysia !
Have you considered collaborating with That Japanese Man Yuta during your time in Japan currently? Would be interesting to see a discussion/sharing video from both of you! 😄
Soon you will be approached by Singapore Tourist Promotion Board and Japan Hour. Keep up the good work!
Whats the title of the song @3:50mins ?
Ghib's Subtitles are special. Singlish Subtitles 😂
Come to Singapore for what when you can't finish touring Tokyo enuff and when Singapore got no fun & nothing amazing to provide.
Quality fun & shopping is right there in Tokyo 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
シンガポールといえばマーライオンと東南アジアにあることくらいしか知らないかも
際どいオッサンにも質問しているところスゴイwww
Hi, look for me …. Cycling around Singapore
Did we try tako-sen before? No. But I assure you, we will now
Went to Japan before but Japan is cleaner than SG though. Esp the toilet. Super impressed. But i do think things are more expensive in Japan than SG.
Singaporean somehow like ppl in Wyoming, both enjoy asking ppl living in other state/country where sg/wyoming is...
where is this shopping place in Japan?
It’s funny that you add singlish to your subs
I miss ghib..
You know you're a gamer when you know a real life location in Japan after a split second looking at it. #YakuzaSeries
The girls are so cute!
Hi, do you know how much is the rental of those restaurants at the alleys u went to? When I go vacation in Tokyo and Osaka, I don’t really see much customers and there are so many of these restaurants. Is the rental cheaper that’s why these restaurants is able to survive? Compare to Singapore, if a restaurant don’t have much crowd, it will probably close down.
HHAHAHAHHA SO 可愛 !
「4月5日から何もたべてない」おじさんをオチに使うなw
でもそういうとこ好き
Hahaha. I think the school girls don't really care so much. But fun interview!
oh japan is opened?
