And regarding to their new music, I really like it. well, they're not interacting directly with the gorillaz characters, they're simply adding them in and rotoscoping elements into each shot. In Who framed Roger Rabbit the actors had to talk, touch and in general interact with the toons, which is a totally different process. the production of Who Framed Roger Rabbit was a horrible process, as no one on set really knew how it would look in the end, everyone simply pretending whats there. rotoscoping is adding drawn elements on top of allready shot footage without the actors in the scene expecting anything to be added. Despite in this video/series above the Gorillaz characters are made to fit into the scene, they'r enot directly involved with the real people. the problem with "acting with" cartoon characters is finidning the balance between acting naturally but also not over acting, as cartoon characters usually oversaturate everything. Which is part of the metajoke in Roger Rabbit.

It's all about Damon Albarn. Gorillaz are......Albarn. Jamie is in charge of animation but Damon is the ONLY constant in every Gorillaz song. Follow Albarn's other major works & you cannot go wrong. Blur; The Good The Bad And The Queen: his solo album is very chill with a few real gems...I even love his album with musicians from Mali, Africa. Damon Albarn is my favorite artist.

From everything I know about Gorillaz Lore Noodle is pretty much carrying the entire band. She not only writes all the music she plays most of it save for drums and is in charge of getting 2-D and Murdoc to get their shit together enough to perform. She also frequently saves their asses from disaster.
Fuzunga I think all of them are. They seem to get along quite better. I think it’s great seeing all of them work together again in such a well created video. Gorillaz is about all the creators, from Gorillaz or not. So they’re truly back to their roots.

I don’t think people realize how good of an era it is to be a Gorillaz fan. In the past three years we’ve had: Humanz, The Now Now, and now Song Machine. That’s three albums (sorta). The timespan between Gorillaz, Demon Days and Plastic beach was TEN YEARS.

When Gorillaz released their first album I was 11 years old. It was the first cd I bought in my life, I saved money from school lunch to get it. From everything I know about Gorillaz Lore Noodle is pretty much carrying the entire band. She not only writes all the music she plays most of it save for drums and is in charge of getting 2-D and Murdoc to get their shit together enough to perform. She also frequently saves their asses from disaster.

I don’t think people realize how good of an era it is to be a Gorillaz fan. In the past three years we’ve had: Humanz, The Now Now, and now Song Machine. That’s three albums (sorta). The timespan between Gorillaz, Demon Days and Plastic beach was TEN YEARS.
Enslave The Mollusk yeah but demon days and plastic beach were pure masterpieces from start to finish! I think the wait was more than worth it back then.
In fairness I’d prefer to wait a much longer time and have three albums of incredible quality than shorter waits between Humanz and the Now Now

When Gorillaz released their first album I was 11 years old. It was the first cd I bought in my life, I saved money from school lunch to get it. I grew up listening their music, and it stills melt my mind. It's so nice seeing Noodle all grow up, I feel like we are ageing together. Great song by the way, I realy enjoyed the clip. keep it going.
