Yeah, my reading of it is that, unlike Russel who noticeably was upset in The Now Now that Murdoc wasn't there, and unlike 2D who was (and still is) experiencing Stockholm syndrome, Noodle sees clearly ; she even berates him in Japanese in one of the Gorillaz Bitez, saying how untrustworthy he is.
I think she's maybe noticed 2D behaving a little "different" since Murdoc's return, and she's concerned about his influence (on 2D, and the band) coming back. And now if Murdoc is going to the lengths of drugging 2D to keep him on a high around himself, well... yeah, cause to worry.
I mean - turns out it's justified, as we find out in "Cracker Island".

murdoc _is_ terrified of being alone, y'all. he acts like he likes being an island, but he's really his own worst enemy. he needs the band -- they're the closest thing to a family he's ever known, but he's scared of love too. he can't apologize because nobody ever apologized to him for all the abuse he faced growing up. 2-d is still my life, but murdoc is a beautifully-written and nuanced character all wrapped in a green gremlin package.
As someone who has a deep love for layered and well written characters I feel this comment on a spiritual level.

As Murdoc pulls out a syringe because he is deeply afraid of being abandoned by the only people in his life, while his only way to express that is through paranoia and abuse, falling into the same behavior that has hurt 2D over and over again. Like it’s really powerful as a low point for the arc.
Technically, he was drvgging 2D with a Truth Serum because he wants to know how to operate the Song Machine and is I think the only one in the band that can't do so, um, but you're definitely right. He's so afraid of being alone. In Plastic Beach, during his broadcasting sessions or whatever those were, he was going insane being there all alone. He needs the band, I just hope that they need him enough to help him sort out his issues and keep going.

i remember by brother showing me this when it came out. he was so excited. i had no interest so i pretended to be excited. that memory is stuck with me as part or my childhood. gorrilaz makes up most of my childhood memories and i want to thank it for that. ive only just started listening to them and now im obsessed. when i hear certain songs, it completely stabs my in my soul and makes me tear up. thankyou gorrilaz for giving me those good and bad memories (i used to be terrified of feel good inc.)

Aries is currently a song I really relate too, my closest friend I’ve ever had recently said he didn’t want to be friends anymore I tried begging him to stay friends with me knowing he was the only reason I was happy and that without him I’d be a wreck, We had been through good times and bad times and sometimes we could get separated and just stop talking but I would always come back and text him again after a few months, I’m tempted to do it again, to text him and rely on him to make me happy again but I understand that I can’t do that, I need to be happy with myself, my happiness shouldn’t be a chore for someone, he was a good friend and I hope to talk to him again in the future when I can take care of myself and not relay on others for happiness. Oh he’s also an aries which i find funny cause the song is called aries
