When the futurama finale aired on CC , once Farnsworth pressed the time button, it cut to the pilot , no ads no credits, it was all an infinite loop so futurama never really ended
Fry is by far my favorite Matt Groening protagonist. He’s just so friendly and pure, and manages to stray away from the happy go lucky protagonist trope in his own Fry way. His life was clearly hard in the past and the future, but he still walks on sunshine :’)
It's strange to say out loud but I've said for a long time he's the cartoon character I'd marry. He's cute, he likes beastie boys, anchovies on pizza, loves 80s music, robots and dogs, he's sweet, he is loyal and he's hysterical. Plus when he's in love he loves you pure and complelty. Whatta guy!
The mom and fry moment gets me everytime. Replaying the day you lost someone over and over again, trying to tell them everything you have wanted to since they left, trying to tell them you were sorry, or telling them you love them once more... I dont care what anyone says man, time doesnt heal all wounds. Sometimes, you just want closure and trying to get it from others is what kills you inside...
On the very first clip you see about Fry getting to meet his mom in the past and give her a hug even though he wanted to tell her something hits me pretty hard because that's legit how I'd react if I could see my mom once more I miss her so much and there's so much I'd want to both tell her and ask her but I can't anymore because she had recently passed away due to cancer. I used to binge watch Futurama back several years ago when my mom still lived and I didn't think too much about that episode because I couldn't relate to Fry but now I finally understand why he simply hugged her instead of just talking to her
I feel the exact same way about my dad. all that fry said to his mom in his dream and hers is what i’d give anything to say to him. the part when he says “I just want to talk to my mom!” gets me the most. i’m sorry for your loss but know you’re not alone

Futurama had 4 Final episodes.. and "Meanwhile" was by far the best! Made even better by the Television Network just transitioning into the first episode without delay as soon as the Button was pressed. Just brilliant.

Old Lady Leela is wild. She carries a full auto laser pistol with her that she can fire one handed with pin-point accuracy. I mean it's also a cartoon, but she's pretty legendary as an older woman.
My mom passed in 2019 and I try skipping the episode where they see each other in one another's dreams every time but couldn't today mom you are missed you are remembered you are loved I love you mom
For me the mos heartwarming part was when he realised his brother didnt hate him or stole his life but rather loved him and gave his son not only fry's most valuable possesion but also his name, his spirit and his dreams.
after such a beautiful ending to such an amazing show im pretty worried about them returning to futurama with the original cast. like, im sure it'll be fine but tampering with such a wonderful conclusion is...could be a poor decision. fingers crossed it turns out well.
Sad Starting over again, That were the last ever scene of futurama 😔 of the very last episode It was such a massively underrated cartoon, equally as funny an enjoyable as The Simpsons
