Good stuff. What I do, cut the lowest part of the body, at the cut line around the whole perimeter. Then align the body side to side, front to back.. ream the holes.. sit the body on the chassis and correct the ride height.. then you know exactly where your wheel wells go.. making sure to keep them a couldn’t millimeters larger than the tires.. and making sure the steering is turns at full lock, so the body doesn’t hang up on the wheels.
If you cut some circles in vinyl with a circle cutter the same size as your rear wheels, you can stick them on your wheels and the center hole is perfect for marking the center of the rear wheels.
What do you use to space the front and rear wheels? Awesome videos. I have watched a few and am learning more than I knew from racing these for many years (with a break)..
Rear wheels will require axle spacers which you will place between the motor pod and hubs. Make sure you use an equal amount of spacers on both sides. Front wheels you can use small axle shims on the front axle. Please refer to your manual for the correct shim sizes for front and rear axle shims. Hope this helps.
There are servos specific to 1/12th scale chassis. Companies like Futaba, Sanwa, and Hi-Tech have dedicated 1/12th servos. There are servos for different applications that will work as well, but you'll need to do a little more research to figure out which servos will work.

For this scale what size servo do you use for steering
