This was a very well put together message on how the principles of health/temperance brings blessings when obeyed, ESPECIALLY in loving obedience to God. Daniel had a made-up mind that he would not defile his body with the portion of the King' food. We too must have a made- up mind before the temptation so that when we face it we will do just exactly what we purposed to do. Help us Holy Spirit.

@@Over-for-now It's important to listen to really understand what a speaker is saying. Not jumping to conclusions but following step by step what is being put forward. By all means, do not conflate teachings. Stick to the topic and arguments brought forward, not bringing in extraneous ideas.
Read again Ephesians 2:4-9 and then verse 10. Read this carefully and prayerfully and ask the Holy Spirit for a desire to "live by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.
@@edithdotson5617 OH my friend, l KNOW the teachings of many religions and make it an interest because l want to help them come to the knowledge of the simplicity of the FINISHED and completed work of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. THAT'S the ONLY WAY God Will accept for entrance into heaven. He gives all glory to HIS SON. I have found that cults are so alike in the fact that they cannot accept THAT FINISHED work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Here is where an understanding of the ancient Hebrew sanctuary/tabernacle is needed.
When considering the Hebrew Tabernacle & it's services, when were the services of the tabernacle completed, when the animal was sacrificed? Or on the day of atonement when the scapegoat was sent to a land uninhabited with the sins of the people upon him?
