This was a very well put together message on how the principles of health/temperance brings blessings when obeyed, ESPECIALLY in loving obedience to God. Daniel had a made-up mind that he would not defile his body with the portion of the King' food. We too must have a made- up mind before the temptation so that when we face it we will do just exactly what we purposed to do. Help us Holy Spirit.
Amen to your comment on prayer organization. I've heard pastors and others pray to the Holy Spirit or conclude prayers without saying 'in Jesus' name,' prompting me to wonder what inspired this practice. Jesus was clear in His instructions in our model prayer. Also, why do some people pray and end their prayer in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit? Where do we see anyone do this in the Bible?

THAT'S the ONLY WAY God Will accept for entrance into heaven. He gives all glory to HIS SON. I have found that cults are so alike in the fact that they cannot accept THAT FINISHED work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Here is where an understanding of the ancient Hebrew sanctuary/tabernacle is needed. When considering the Hebrew Tabernacle & it's services, when were the services of the tabernacle completed, when the animal was sacrificed? Or on the day of atonement when the scapegoat was sent to a land uninhabited with the sins of the people upon him?
Pastor I understand we have to eat healthy, but I don’t agree with what you eat is the way you acted….. people have a mind of their own also a choice given by God … for me is just disobedience to God …

What they ate made a HUGE and predictable determination upon the way they acted. And if I use alcohol and stay up all hours of the night does that not affect how I will behave the next day?
