My brother our teachings are only bible based. Christ created the earth he died on Friday evening, rested in the grave on sabbath and resurrected on Sunday. God whose also Christ created seven days but blessed the seventh day which is Saturday. Read creation story, resurrection story...
If you have questions about why sda 's keep Saturday then you should read the 27 not 28 seventh Adventist fundamentals chapter 19, I think it would answer your question better

Whenever I read the creation story and the instructions given through Moses to the children of Israel in the wilderness about cleaning and preparing themselves to worship and rest on the Sabbath day. So Pastor Skeete, You stated that only "work" allowed on the Sabbath is to relieve suffering. What about a patient in the ICU or in the ER who is dying and will die without IV Fluids, Medication, Surgery. They may be unconscious so not suffering. How can you leave them to die even if they are not suffering due to their being unconscious. Should only non- Sabbath keepers work on Sabbath to save lives? If you have to have care 24/7 would that be fair for the non SDA nurses or doctors to be working on the Sabbath? That is effectively what you are saying. Robert
