initially, i worried about printing, but most people are not expecting a 60 yr old lady, who often has brightly colored, dyed hair, to be carrying a pistol. Most people don't even look very carefully at others, and if they do, even if they were to notice the print, what are they going to do about it? Nothing. So, now, I print away, stand tall, and try not to loiter around foot cops who might actually notice ;)
I never could understand why a woman would carry her firearm in her purse, lose the purse you lose the firearm. (ON body) seems more logical, but that's just me.

I'm a woman, No that's not just you. I can't believe she's recommending carrying in a freaking purse or off the body period that's just plain ole stupid. I don't even carry my money etc in my purse let alone my pistol. Steal my purse you have my gun, what would be my defense weapon my knife? I dont think so😔. This is all common sense 101. The other female shooter channels that I watch DO NOT recommend purse carry etc, SMH!!
I have a cc purse that's a cross body. It's an excellent option and can be quickly and easily accessed. I can draw in the same amount of time as on body carry. As always, practicing your draw makes all the difference.
Great points about a ccw. and drawbacks. one thought! when carrying in a purse or bag off body. most attacks or muggings are $$$$ motivated, even if not dollar motivated most people get robbed in the assault. money, car or house keys and valuables are kept in bags women carry, and so is your firearm. if you are warned of assault you have time to get your weapon, if ambushed or waylaid you may lose your weapon. TKS. good review.
That's why you should use a cc purse with a designated holster pocket and preferably cross body (muggers will likely skip the woman carrying a crossbody purse and go for someone using just a shoulder strap or handles.) Train train train with your purse too just as you would doing drills drawing from your waistband holster. Practice and situational awareness are the #1 key
