It's crazy we get multiple Gate Guardian fusions of different variations which is honestly pretty interesting, sort of like XYZ Dragon Cannon and it's other fusion variants. I'm happy for all the DM fans to see Gate Guardians finally getting support. Also Baronne Collector's Rare is amazing!!
I was really hoping this is exactly what they did with them. I really thought we were getting new forms of the pieces too. I love all this tied in support making shadow ghoul and tank into the gate guardian archetype.
@JohnnyMacs19 sadly they didn't try to include Dark Guardian in this set which I felt like would have been the perfect opportunity to release it and could have been a decent card for the support
You can get BOTH ultra and collectors rare in these sets. It's not only limited to one side each. Tho if you get 3/4 ultra collectors rates aren't guaranteed. But if you see 2 ultra on one side and 1 ultra on the other chances are you'll get a collectors rare

Its still early to tell but after just hearing some of those effects, the gate guardian and pieces are actually a viable engine, reminds me of prank kids/gladiator beasts
They aren't completely unplayable which is shocking. I thought it was going to be a casual nostalgic thing and they were going to be okay at best. They seem fun and you can also play hamon with them which is funny as hell. If you decide to go for the gate guardian fusion you can summon that and hamon in 1 turn and OTK basically

The effect where you can put the gate guardian monsters in your spell or trap zone is probably a reference to the anime where the two brothers summoned them as boxes before summoning gate guardian
Okay if we talking TCG exclusive legacy support, this is at least a step in the right direction compared to when the TCG tried to "Support" ninjas in a set similar to this. Those fusions are a win in my book
